Kork Ease leather is processed using natural, organic tanning, completely certified in all its phases: from the supply of raw materials to the finished product. Kork Ease uses soy ink (versus petroleum-based ink) in order to protect the environment. To produce soy ink, the soybeans are cleaned, cut into flakes, and processed into oil. The oil is then refined, cooked, and carefully blended with pigments, resins, and waxes forming a high-quality ink. Cork is lightweight, buoyant, rot-resistant, and virtually impermeable. It is elastic (which relieves joint pain), resilient, and easily retains its shape. Cork is moisture-wicking, anti-microbial, hypoallergenic, shock-absorbing, odor-resistant, and molds to the shape of your foot.
