Cute and comfortable but came scratched
"I was very disappointed in the pair that was sent to me. The leather straps were very scrathced and looked worn. There wasn’t any paper in the box that is typical in a box of shoews, separating the two shoes. I have no dobut, they had been worn and returned. I was hoping to exchange them for a new pair and before I could finish my sentence, an employee (not the one that I was talking to) told me that Birkenstocks come that way and if that was a problem I probably shouldn’t buy any. I told them I have had many Birketsocks and I have been very pleased with the quality. The employee that was “helping” me looked to see if any size 39s were available and he couldn’t find the one in the store. I walked over to the display shoe and to my exact point, the shoe didn’t have marks/scrathces and it was the display shoe!! I pointed this out and the employee reiterated what the other employee rudely told me and said “So you’d like to return the one Everett sent you and scratch a new pair on your own”? I have NEVER had such a bad experience at Evereve. I have shopped at the store for years and most of my wardrobe is actually from there. Highly disappointed to say the least."
Most uncomfortable Birks!
"I’ve worn Birkenstock sandals over the past 30+ years, all different styles but these Madrid Big Buckle are the most uncomfortable Birkenstock sandals I’ve ever worn! At first I thought it was just a fluke so I returned the pair and ordered a new pair but the 2nd pair was just as bad as the first. I ended up returning both pairs and vowed never to wear the Madrid Big Buckle again. I love all of my other Birkenstock sandals and practically live in them, I even have a pair of Birks as house-slippers. This is why I was so shocked that the Madrid Big Buckle did NOT work out for me."

Very Uncomfortable
"These are the most uncomfortable shoe ever. I have been trying to break them in for weeks and the buckle is just in the wrong spot. The top of my foot is visibly swollen and bruised from it. This is my first time having a bad experience with Birkenstocks and I'm pretty bummed."
