0:00welcome back to styled with Ash I'm Ash0:02ever's director of styling and today0:03we're talking with a familiar face that0:05you all know she has headed back to the0:08office and she is looking for that great0:10core weekend wear so we are taking one0:12easy peasy silhouette an amazing0:14layering piece oh hi a great pair of0:18jeans and we are going to flip this0:20little base look on its head for all the0:22things on your calendar I love it all0:23right so tell us all the things you have0:25happening right now so I'm going back0:26into the office and by that I mean I0:28have clients now that want see me in0:30person not as remote so I need to update0:34what I got going on to reflect me but0:36also I got to go into these offices make0:38it work in the workplace right one thing0:39we were talking about as you got here is0:41Steph's calendar on the weekends is0:43filled with dance dancing danc I mean0:46not me dancing just cheering for the0:47dancer right me cheering for my tiniest0:50so we are taking this great core basic0:52look she is wearing the Payton snap0:54Front Tea this is a bestseller from us I0:56want to say year three in this new0:58oatmeal and cream strip1:00really great basic it's cotton it has1:02some great length to it so you can tuck1:04it in Steph just has it untucked right1:06here it just feels easy peasy run around1:08so soft beautiful color on you and then1:10we threw on this really lightweight Z1:13Supply vest it comes in black and this1:14more mocha color which just feels like1:16prepared for that cooler weather the1:19mornings anything with AC just giving1:21you that extra layer and then we have1:23step wearing one of our favorite pairs1:26of denim right now this fall this is the1:28Meg cuffed this looks incredible this1:30gives your look super comfortable so1:32comfortable right super I love that it1:34has a clean dark wash so again it can be1:36more pulled together great professional1:38for work but that cup on the bottom just1:40gives you a little bit of Edge and Funk1:42just a little juxtaposition to your1:44everyday look and then a fun metallic1:46sneaker I love it yeah you look1:47fantastic super comfortable I get hot1:49you're going I'm going to be in Austin1:52so I got to go from hot to cold so it's1:54nice to have yeah that layer I love that1:56and then your handsfree bags when you're1:58traveling or just running around so easy2:00super cute all right let's show you how2:03we're taking this look to the2:06office cute I love this talk me through2:10it what how do you feel great I feel2:13lifted I feel professional you look2:16professional um but I also feel2:17comfortable because this shirt is2:19amazing but I just like that the just2:22the change of the jacket and like the2:23change of the shoes makes you totally2:25work appropriate totally all right so2:27what I was thinking is like a few years2:29ago when you think about going back into2:30the office or working in the office what2:32we typically would have put under a2:33ladylike jacket was a more dressier top2:36underneath but I think this is the power2:37of Basics we kept that stripe on there2:39which I think gives you a little bit of2:41playfulness to this entire look a more2:44professional this great ladylike jacket2:46we still have that cup denim on which2:48gives you some Edge and makes that like2:51goto work bottom more funky friendly and2:55really approachable in my opinion and2:56then we just swapped it in for this2:57ladylike flat which is functional and2:59really on Trend right now I like the3:01ladylike it makes me feel like a lady so3:03so cute okay a few styling tips I would3:05say here crew with the ladylike jackets3:07because they are a little bit shorter I3:10don't want to say cro but they are3:11shorter I love to push up the sleeves I3:14know that's not always easy for3:15everybody give yourself a little cuff3:17but what that does is it exposes more3:20skin exposing your wrists and just3:22making the eye go straight up and3:24creating shape in the waist so throw on3:26a ladylike jacket throw on a ladylike3:28sweater like I have on put up the3:30sleeves and you are creating an3:31incredible waist tell me why you like3:33this outfit so I like the transition3:35into this outfit the jacket gives a3:38little bit more of a corporate Vibe3:41which I love so I can pop it on I like3:43not having the shimmery silky3:47shirt from back in the day because I3:51that's just not the look that I want to3:53have anymore and I want to be3:54comfortable and I would sweat those out3:56and then I couldn't take my jacket off3:57because I'm not pity so I don't have to3:59do anymore so that's good and flats4:01because I'm not wearing heels and4:03standing all day that's why I love it4:05and I feel like myself like I I feel4:08confident and comfortable which makes me4:10confident I love it so lovely to see you4:12today
