of us 0:17 are knee-deep into wedding season i have 0:19 been to three already this year and um 0:23 lots of questions from you as to what to 0:25 wear the venues are all over the board 0:28 we have some people on a beach some 0:29 people in a park some people in a church 0:31 and some people in a barn so lots of 0:34 questions as i said what do i wear we're 0:36 going to start with what to wear to a 0:38 more casual wedding okay 0:40 starting with this amazing dress and a 0:43 beautiful navy color from amanda up 0:46 richard okay what do i love about this 0:48 dress well first of all there's two 0:50 trends that she is featuring that i 0:52 absolutely adore right now okay it's the 0:54 flutter sleeve which we've talked about 0:56 before 0:57 a flutter sleeve just elevates anything 0:59 from a t-shirt to a simple sundress and 1:01 right here you go you're right on trend 1:03 with that the other trend that this 1:05 stays in line with is the tears okay so 1:07 it's got a beautiful two tiers here on 1:10 the way down um and isn't too fitted in 1:13 here um i would say it kind of gives you 1:15 a little bit of an hourglass but it's 1:16 not tight or binding um so as you're 1:19 moving around or visiting at the 1:20 reception um you're still going to be 1:22 very comfortable 1:24 beautiful and v-neck neckline here which 1:26 i think just elevates things again and i 1:29 really like the length of this dress 1:31 okay a lot of times at a wedding i don't 1:33 want it to be too short or above my knee 1:35 especially um for my age i just like to 1:38 have it a little more conservative and 1:40 let the bride really shine and not show 1:42 up in like a mini skirt so 1:44 at five nine this hits me right below 1:46 the knee is exactly where i wanted to 1:48 okay um and i kept the shoes very simple 1:51 this is just a little easy slide on pair 1:53 of heels from dolce vita and um some 1:56 really simple earrings these have a 1:58 little bit of a wood detailing on here 2:01 and you are all set ready out the door 2:03 to head to your casual wedding pop on i 2:06 would say maybe just like a very simple 2:08 um clutch 2:10 you're ready to go 2:11 next little outfit for a wedding this 2:13 one would be really appropriate if you 2:14 had a beach wedding or if you don't live 2:16 by a beach or a wedding by the beach 2:18 even if it's something that's outdoor 2:19 okay so what do we love about it again 2:22 that flutter sleeve she just is the best 2:24 okay keeps things really elevated again 2:26 i like that very nice deep v um which 2:29 again is very formal um this one does 2:32 have a little bit of gathering here 2:34 around the waist so it's very 2:35 comfortable and gives you that hourglass 2:37 shape a little bit of a tear on the 2:39 bottom i'm going to come close so you 2:41 can see the um the little detailing in 2:43 here the the pattern is little tiny 2:45 flowers that almost have like a little 2:47 marigold color in there as well okay now 2:50 outdoor sometimes you might be again 2:52 like on the sand or you might be on in a 2:55 park where things are a little unstable 2:57 so the shoe um is going to be really key 3:00 because a high stiletto or something is 3:02 just not going to work so these little 3:05 flats here from dolce vita easy on easy 3:08 off so if you do want 3:10 your toes in the sand or your toes in 3:11 the grass or whatever you can take them 3:13 off walk and then put them back on very 3:16 easily um i added some simple earrings 3:19 to this this little earrings a little 3:20 tiny pearl drop um that matches the 3:23 color in the shoe she comes in a pack of 3:25 three so there's two other ones that 3:27 come along in a really cute gold and 3:29 then um i just did a little this little 3:31 two pack of bracelets again that little 3:34 pearl matches the earring which matches 3:36 the shoe which pulls it all together for 3:38 your outdoor venue 3:40 okay you are now off to that very 3:43 elevated very elegant formal wedding i 3:46 have just the dress this one is from 3:48 norma kamali in this beautiful emerald 3:52 color 3:53 you can do this trust me okay 3:56 so a couple things i love about this 3:58 first of all i love the length that 4:01 little a little bit of length there that 4:03 is going to get you just a little more 4:05 formal 4:06 feel 4:07 it does have a little bit of a slit on 4:08 the side which is very sophisticated 4:10 okay it is a one shoulder and i'm going 4:13 to tell you the trick about this dress 4:15 there is a body suit inside okay so the 4:18 bodysuit is all connected to the dress 4:20 but you get in the bodysuit and it hugs 4:22 all the things in 4:24 just in the right places okay 4:26 then the overlay is a little bit of a 4:28 ruching i'm going to come closer here so 4:29 this ruching you can kind of play around 4:31 with a little bit right if you want a 4:32 little more in the hip area if you 4:34 wanted a little more on your waist if 4:36 you feel like the ruching should be a 4:37 little more up here in your chest area 4:40 you can kind of play around with it and 4:41 make it your own okay again that one 4:43 shoulder very dramatic very 4:45 sophisticated all right i'm going to 4:47 show you a look from the side because it 4:49 all kind of gathers on this right side 4:51 okay all kind of comes together and 4:53 around the back and again that ruching 4:56 just really lets you play with her a 4:58 little bit and get just the look that 5:00 you want okay couple things that i want 5:02 to speak to specifically about this 5:04 dress first of all age 5:06 don't get hung up on your age sometimes 5:08 i think people look at these um more 5:10 fitted silhouettes and think that's for 5:11 the younger girls you can do it too 5:13 remember that bodysuit that's tucked 5:15 inside that's going to help you out get 5:17 the shape that you want okay 5:18 next i'm going to talk about body shape 5:21 okay 5:22 you don't have to be um you know stick 5:24 thin or 5:26 an apple a triangle a rectangle anything 5:29 is going to work with this dress because 5:31 this ruching really allows you to kind 5:33 of move it as to wherever you want to so
