I'm ahead of I'm0:14ahead of the curve here.0:15Yeah, like you are couple weeks.0:17I I am traveling for Thanksgiving. I'm0:19headed to California with my family and0:22I've decided to share with you the0:24outfits that I've packed. And I always0:27pack and carry in one carry-on suitcase0:30everywhere all over the world.0:31I don't travel anywhere if I have to0:33check in a suitcase.0:34I was just in Paris with her and she did0:36a whole week in one little suitcase.0:41Forces me to curate and pull together0:43looks that are mix and match that can0:45take me to a whole bunch of places. So0:48today we're going to share my0:49Thanksgiving capsule with you today. And0:52also, I'm excited to teach you about the0:54art of soft dressing. It's how I like to0:57dress. It's very taking pieces that are0:59relaxed and casual and elevating them um1:02in simple ways. So, we're going to share1:04that with you today as well. Shall we1:06get into it?1:06Yeah. You want to start off talking1:07about your great look today? Let's start1:09off by talking about our outfits that we1:10we are wearing today. So, I'm wearing a1:12fa this new trouser by The Favorite1:14Daughter. I love it because a trouser is1:16nice and relaxed and flowing. I can1:18travel in a trouser. Um, so I love it1:20for travel paired with this amazing soft1:23sweatshirt with a builtin necklace. This1:26was brilliant. Thank you. I know1:28everything1:30and I love how we make things so easy1:32for our customers and just building in1:35this beautiful glamorous necklace makes1:37my life a lot easier. So that's what I'm1:39wearing. How about you?1:40I am wearing this amazing cape sweater1:43by LNA. Um, spoiler alert, big trend1:46coming in next fall. We were just in1:48Paris and there were capes everywhere.1:50Um, so this is a fun little nod to where1:51we're going next year. And then I have1:54this washed black denim by Frame, the1:57Palazzo. Um, and then some Dolce Vita1:59little cute heels here. Love it. You2:02look amazing. Liz always looks amazing.2:05Good thing you're the senior director of2:06buying Ever. So, let's talk about the2:09Think Royland travel system because this2:11is what I use when I travel to Paris, to2:15London, to wherever I'm going for every2:17for work and for fun. But, believe it or2:20not, I can get six outfits in this2:23system right here, which is kind of2:24amazing. It expands. Um, it does, it2:27looks small, but it actually really2:28expands. And you can get a lot in this2:30carry-on. This is what I use to put my2:32laptop in, and I sneak a couple other2:34things in there. But this is the Think2:36Royland travel system that I use and2:38it's amazing. It can it can take me for2:40a long time.2:41Yeah, if you don't have a Think Royland2:42system or bag of any sort, traveling is2:45so much harder without it. They've2:47thought of every last detail. So, um I2:50this really makes things efficient and2:52easy and organizing. A one tip is I2:54always use a really great um Think2:57Royland um cross body bag. Will you hold3:00that for a second? Sure. Um this is my3:02my secret. I always, you know, wear this3:05at the airport and then when you when3:06you're going up to the gates, you can3:08only have two this in. They say you can3:09only have two bags. I take this in and I3:11cram it in there. And I just love this3:14whole system and and I get a lot of use.3:16It really helps me travel.3:17Yep. And this is great for you can get3:20all the3:21all the toiletries in the middle and3:23hang it from the shower. And then I3:24always put my jewelry in the front3:26pocket. So it's like that. That's a good3:28tip. Yeah. Yeah. The women at St.3:30Laureland, they have thought about3:31everything when they've designed these.3:33So many details that make travel so much3:36easier and efficient and functional and3:38stylish.3:39Yeah. One of those brands that you're3:40just like, "A woman did this."3:41Yeah. Look at how a woman did it. Good3:42job, Inland. We love you. You've made my3:44life a lot easier.3:45So, we'll put those back.3:48All right.3:48All right. Ready to get into the outfit?3:50Yes.3:51So, this is the first outfit.3:54You ready? Go.3:55All right.3:56This is the first outfit that I packed.3:58I am obsessed with this. Um, this is4:01just Do you want to take a look?4:02Yeah, I'll speak to it. So, thing number4:04one, I'm going to talk about the beauty4:06of just a core sweatshirt. This is the4:08perfect tea uh sweatshirt, and we've4:10both been living in this sweatshirt. It4:11does everything. Looks great under a4:13blazer. Um, this beautiful scarf is by4:16Lcarf. So, this is a silk scarf scarf,4:18and I think the luxeness of the color4:21here is just outstanding, and it really4:23brings things to a more elevated place4:25than just a sweatshirt alone. Our4:27beautiful Evereve heart necklace here.4:29The pendant is coming back, so get your4:31long necklaces out.4:33Such an easy way. The pendant for me is4:34such an easy way to elevate any4:36sweatshirt, just throw a pendant on and4:39instant elevation.4:40Agree. Um, and then these beautiful luxe4:43velour pants by Ask New York.4:46Um, just a really comfy, stretchy, but4:48luxe way. So, it's kind of like4:50sweatpants in disguise.4:51It's This outfit is so comfortable and4:55so elevated. Um, and I'm pairing it with4:58um4:58these amazing rivet um Birkenstock5:01Boston clogs. So, just kind of brings5:03things to an everyday place um and5:05doesn't feel overly formal.5:07Great. So, really comfortable, easy, but5:09elevated.5:10Is that your airplane outfit?5:11I think so. This is I'm kind of obsessed5:12with this outfit. And the navy blue, the5:15richness of the navy blue just elevates5:16it. I just5:18You'll notice navy around ever even.5:20Yeah, around me. You'll notice a lot of5:21navy. I love this.5:23All right, what's up next? The second5:25outfit, this is um actually what I'm5:27planning to wear on Thanksgiving Day.5:29We're going We're changing things up5:31this year. We're actually going to Did5:32you say where you're going?5:33Restaurant. Yes. On the ocean. Oh,5:36we're we're you know, we're we're we're5:38going out for Thanksgiving this year.5:39Much more glamorous than my hosting.5:40Much more glamorous this year. Yeah. I'm5:42not I'm hosting 14 people.5:44Um but I am I do have to get elevated5:46cuz we're going to a fancy restaurant5:48for dinner, but I'm in California. I5:49want to still be relaxed. So, I love5:52this silk um or not the silk, this lace5:56skirt.5:57Super Good job, team. Like, really right6:00here.6:00This is all this knocking it out of the6:02park.6:03Super flattering6:04and pairing it with this cashmere6:07sweater just takes it just really to a6:09soft, cozy place, but still elevated.6:12Um I love that this is Kashmir.6:14Yep. And I love just the little details,6:16the expression of fit, the volume in the6:18sleeve. Really again, those tiny details6:20that you don't notice, but without them,6:22this this doesn't read as lux and how6:25every and everyday elevated. Um, also a6:27great piece. You can layer it under a6:29blazer. It's just an awesome workhorse6:30to have in your wardrobe.6:31And the hoodie, I love the casualness6:34that the hoodie brings to this piece.6:35It's beautiful.6:36Also with the lace, um, you can't quite6:38see it on the screen, but there's some6:40nice sheerness there. So, the sheer6:42skirt, lace details, very much a thing6:44you'll be seeing for the next year. So,6:46this is something you can carry um and6:48wear year round. So, it's a great piece.6:50And then just a beautiful little sling6:52back.6:52And we can't forget the tights. Tights6:54are back.6:54Oh, yes. Like they are.6:55I don't know. Did you take a break from6:57tights for a while? Like I kind of6:58I did. I did.6:59So, I am pairing this with We don't have7:00it here, but a pair of tights with this.7:03And um it looks amazing.7:05Sheer um totally okay to wear your sling7:07back with your tight. You can even have7:09a toe peek out sometimes. So, there7:11aren't a lot of rules with it. Just wear7:13a sheer tight and it'll definitely bring7:15the outfit forward.7:16I love it. This is perfect for7:18Thanksgiving.7:19Okay, this might be I mean they're all7:21my favorite outfit. I I I got here7:23today. I was like so excited about these7:24outfits. But this is like maybe one of7:27my This is one of my favorites.7:29Um this is this um sweater set by7:32Splendid that just hit I think on Friday7:35when I tried it on.7:36Yeah. So we also have this in chocolate7:37brown. It's beautiful. So just when you7:39think you're oversets, then they come7:41out with a new reason to buy. So this7:43great separates to have in your7:45wardrobe. She could pair this with the7:46navy sweatshirt. This would look great7:48with a pair of jeans. And then we have7:49this awesome fur vest by Sanctuary. I7:53love the update with a little bit more7:54of the muscle shoulder here. I think7:56really brings it again, it feels7:57forward, it feels a little bit stronger.7:59Um and I think the just the overall8:02richness of the fabric um gives that lux8:05lux detail that you've been speaking to.8:07Um, and then again, here she is gold.8:10You're throwing that neckace. Throw that8:11necklace on, that pennant on, and you8:13are suddenly your t-shirt and your8:14jeans, you've elevated them, and just8:16have added a touch of lux. I'm typically8:18not, Liz. I'm typically not a faux fur8:21of like like sometimes it just isn't me,8:24but I love it mixed with this super8:26casual, relaxed sweater set because I8:30love the contrast of something a little8:32casual with something a little fancy.8:34And this just hit it. I love this8:36outfit. As with any trend, they're8:38rarely done. Fur isn't done, but we're8:40evolving it. It has some great texture8:42to it. The shape is what makes it more8:44modern. So, all these things come back8:46around and it's just those little tweaks8:48that make it feel um more forward moving8:51and more trend, right? Um also calling8:53out Megan's going to pair these gold. I8:55mean, talk about bringing the sneaker8:56forward here. So, this will bring um a8:58nice little detail and really complete9:00the look. Um there's nothing worse than9:02having an amazing outfit and then an old9:04sneaker on. So, this feels nice and um9:06fresh, comfortable, casual. So, this9:08should be the airport. I know this might9:11be the airplane life. It's also a good9:12coffee morning.9:13It's everything.9:15And I think, you know, for me, being9:16warm is really important. Even though9:18I'm going to be in California, it's9:19going to be chilly there. So, that just9:21feels warm and cozy. Okay,9:23this is amazing. We're doing family9:25photos one day. We're trying to get our9:26Christmas cards in on the beach.9:29Lovely.9:29The colors. I thought this, you know,9:31everybody builds their wardrobe around9:32what mom is wearing. the mom is wearing.9:34So, this is what I'm wearing, family.9:37This Alex Mill fair ale cardigan. So,9:39cardigans continue to have a moment as9:41shown right here. Um, but then these9:43pops of color, it just again just adds9:45something. It's not overly traditional.9:47It doesn't feel stuffy. So, I think this9:49is a really fun piece and will look9:50beautiful on you. And then this is the9:53Aurelia um relaxed leg by Paige. This is9:57probably my favorite pair of jeans that9:59I own. Um, it's a barrel. So, I know10:02we're still and I'm still having it with10:03my friends. I know some of you are10:05watching.10:05Barrel conversation.10:06Is the barrel real? It is real. Um, but10:08it's becoming a little bit more relaxed10:10and less like a bow and just a little10:12bit more like a slouch. It makes you10:14feel kind of wafy. Um, and it's really10:16replacing what used to be the the10:17boyfriend. So, don't be scared. We're10:19toning her down a little bit. She's very10:21wearable.10:22Yeah. The barrel is really your relaxed10:24jean. So, you're loose fitting, relaxed.10:27It's just the new modern relaxed jean.10:29Take this same sweater, put it on with a10:32straight dark and rinse and you look10:34ready for work. This looks ready for10:35relaxed, casual, easy.10:37Exactly. Which is why I love it.10:39And I love Yeah. I love the relaxed look10:41paired with this festive sweater.10:43Again, texture being such an important10:45part of the luxe details um and the soft10:48glamour. So, this is a velour little10:51Mary Jane by Dolce Vita. And um again,10:55it just kind of brings the whole look10:56together. Never skip the shoe. The shoe10:58is a very important part of the whole11:00look.11:00Really good. Love this. Oh, the belt.11:02The belt. Another instant elevation.11:04Just throw on a belt.11:05Oh my gosh. Our belt are the best.11:08Um, so we have this beautiful belt here.11:10This is a Evereve label. And so you can11:13see just the architectural hardware and11:16all the details have been thought of. So11:19that's really again these little details11:21that you're like, I can wear my old11:22belt. You can't really. You got to move11:24it forward and have these updated11:26proportions and details.11:28Yeah. Great way just to belt really11:30helps elevate the everyday.11:31Yes.11:32Okay. The last look here. Another one of11:35my favorites. Um Okay. They're all my11:38favorite.11:40All my favorite. Um11:42let's talk about this.11:43This vest is by every again. You'll11:45notice that little strong shoulder.11:47Really important um for just kind of11:50bringing it forward. Um, this looks like11:52a wool, but what's amazing is our team's11:54designed it. So, it's this ultra soft,11:57ultra comfortable um, fabric that won't11:59make you too hot, so you'll be able to12:01wear it no matter where you live. Um,12:03and then we have this delicious far12:06turtleneck. It's so soft. Um, so again,12:08the comfort being at the core of all of12:11this. Um, and then you paired it back to12:14your Aurelia barrel like um, jean and it12:19again just really easy but thoughtful12:22and fun and playful.12:23I love it. I love the pop of red just12:25makes it feel festive and holiday12:26without being too much. And I do I I do12:29think the pendant necklace on this one12:30was beautiful too.12:31Yeah. And that with the gold sneaker.12:34Yep. And so you still have What's12:35amazing about how Megan packs is she12:37still you love to walk. You love to get12:40your 15,000 steps in a day plus. So you12:43have a great comfortable sneaker that12:44can double to get your steps in, shop,12:46whatever you might be doing with your12:48family.12:48Absolutely fun.12:50All right. Yeah. Um13:19so we are moving into very much a13:21jewelry cycle with more novelty, more13:24reasons to buy, more ways to add13:26personality to your outfit.13:27Exactly. You're wearing a mix right here13:29of the the13:29gold mix. Little cuff is always a good13:31option.13:32Yeah, it's okay.13:32Yep. No rules. And then if someone runs13:35a little hot, how are those navy pants?13:38Oh,13:39they are, you know, that's a good13:40question.13:41They're thin. I They're pretty thin. So,13:44oh, the navy the navy set or the navy13:45sweater pants?13:46The one set.13:47Yeah, they're thin. I would say they run13:50What I do is I balance out the outfit.13:52So, maybe skip the sweatshirt and do13:55maybe like a poppplland shirt or13:56something like that. Do something a13:58little bit lighter weight just so that14:00you're not heating up both sides, both14:02ends. So, um, but they're pretty thin.14:04They're pretty thin. They're beautiful14:06pant.14:06Beautiful pant.14:07Okay, one more question. Wondering14:09Megan, how you're packing all of your14:11shoes.14:12How do I pack all my shoes?14:14Your luggage.14:15I said the same thing before we started.14:16Excellent question. And again, I I can14:18attest this is14:19Well, I do have shoe bags for all the14:21shoes. So, I have little shoe bags, but14:23I do get the big chunky shoes like in14:25this case, it would be maybe the the14:28Golas and maybe the kitten heels. I put14:31that in the the the the the space for14:34the shoes.14:35And then the other two I just kind of I14:37I put them on the sides. So when I pack,14:40I lay all my clothes up, but I I sneak14:42them into the sides of the suitcase.14:44Um and I I have them in a little bag so14:47I don't mind that they touch the14:49clothes. But I can get four shoes into14:52this suitcase. I can get a lot into this14:55little14:56suitcase. I mean, again, I have like an14:58overweight limit huge bag and she's15:01ready to go. So, she does about, you15:03know, thoughtfully curating those15:06pieces. Um, it took me a little bit of15:08time to put these looks together and a15:10lot of times mixing and matching and15:12playing to get the looks right, but it's15:16worth it to have a outfits that are easy15:20that work for you. Um, and all of this15:24the elements whether it's the bandana or15:26the necklace, the shoes to the like all15:29those luxe details really help you um to15:34to elevate it and to take you to15:37dressier places if you need to.15:39And I'd say you have almost two weeks of15:42outfits here if we were to actually mix15:43and match.15:44If you look at the color story, um,15:46we've have like the color story, all15:48these pieces do mix and match. So, so15:50really understanding the color that you15:53want to um to wear when you're packing15:56is a really important part of creating15:58that capsule. Having a color story that16:01is able you're able to mix and match16:02with. And I mean it always starts with16:04denim, right? Build around the denim and16:06a sweatshirt. And you can um learn how16:09to do this, too.16:10Mhm.16:10Okay, last one, rapid fire. Any earring16:13trends people should be aware of?16:15Oo, great question. Um, so I'm wearing a16:18pair of our earrings right now. I think16:20it's kind of getting a little bit more16:23subdued cuz you might be making room for16:25the necklace, but making sure that you16:27have kind of the look of that multiple16:29piercing or tiered kind of hoop um16:32really brings like a little bit of edge16:34and doesn't feel like you're wearing16:35like your grandma's jewelry, but it just16:37brings um I don't know, just a little16:40kick to the look.16:42All right, well that is it.
