having a little 00:34 quick dinner out and we were talking 00:36 about the fact that two of our three 00:37 kids are going to be going to camp at 00:38 the exact same time this summer 00:40 and we should take advantage and based 00:43 on 00:44 the number of hotels we looked for that 00:46 were already booked i'm guessing that 00:47 many of you are channeling that exact 00:49 same idea so 00:51 i thought it'd be a fun one to talk 00:52 today a little bit about that summer 00:54 packing list when you are getting 00:56 out of dodge and want to pack 00:59 a suitcase that does all the things for 01:01 you 01:02 i've got some answers on how to make it 01:04 super super easy those 01:06 perfect essentials you've got to throw 01:08 in your bag that will bring you any 01:10 which way 01:12 all the places all the days and we're 01:14 gonna start with 01:15 what i think are some of the more fun 01:17 and unexpected pieces especially this 01:18 little combination i'm wearing right now 01:20 which is a graphic tee 01:22 and a fun skirt what how fun is that 01:25 okay so 01:25 here's from these start a graphic tee 01:28 loving a good graphic especially when 01:32 it's coming in a tank 01:34 version and so are all of you we are 01:37 absolutely flying through these 01:39 and there's something that i think about 01:40 the optimism and the really fun 01:43 kind of summer spirit that these tanks 01:45 are bringing 01:47 i'm wearing this great version from 01:48 spiritual gangster 01:50 i feel like a broken record because i 01:52 talk about this silhouette almost every 01:53 week 01:54 but there's a reason for it it is such 01:55 an incredible fit it is so flattering 01:58 because it is not so crazy oversized so 02:01 i wear my true size in this 02:03 i do find that it is a more fitted 02:05 silhouette so if you are bustier 02:07 i suggest going up a size in this one 02:09 because of the fit across the bust line 02:12 this is our happy tank i absolutely love 02:14 this guy in this sunny sunny yellow 02:16 feel so happy doesn't it and optimistic 02:19 so now i paired it back to 02:22 this super fun skirt from z supply now i 02:25 popped this on because i wanted you to 02:27 see 02:28 that even shorty mick shorter son like 02:30 myself at 02:31 under 5'4 can rock a maxi skirt it is 02:35 all about the styling so here are a 02:37 couple tips that i threw on 02:39 when it came to putting this outfit 02:40 together number one i did a full tuck 02:42 i went for it i need to show my waist i 02:44 need to break up that body 02:46 so that i don't look kind of short 02:51 and like like 02:54 truncated i guess would be maybe the 02:56 word i'm looking for in my legs so 02:58 i put this skirt actually up a little 03:00 bit higher i made it a more true high 03:02 rise so this is sitting 03:04 right above my natural waist and it's 03:06 easy to do that with this more sparked 03:08 waistband because you guys know you can 03:10 adjust it any which way you want 03:12 full tuck in my tank and i didn't go 03:14 with anything too oversized 03:15 another easy way to do this if you do 03:18 not 03:19 love your full talk idea this is a fun 03:22 one 03:23 yep you know what i'm going to talk 03:24 about do your knot okay so a little knot 03:26 here 03:27 does the same thing gives you that great 03:29 waist detail 03:30 easy to do but then you don't have to do 03:32 the fuss and mess with the tucking so 03:34 i'm just going to do a little knot here 03:36 let's see if i can do it yep 03:38 and you guys can see it has the same 03:39 exact effect it just gives me a little 03:41 bit more length so if you're looking for 03:43 a little bit more coverage maybe want to 03:46 have that graze over your waist 03:48 instead of being like hitting under your 03:50 waist um it's an easy way to do it and 03:53 then i just pop it over 03:54 that waistband you guys can see where 03:56 it's hitting on me here 03:57 so and then of course i have my summer 03:59 slide which we're going to talk about in 04:00 a minute so 04:02 easy graphics it is a staple to put in 04:05 your 04:06 suitcase for those getaways because 04:08 they're great for the beach they're 04:09 great with a cutoff they're easy to pair 04:11 with a little skirt 04:13 like casual wherever you're going 04:16 they're a fun piece to put on so 04:17 i have on this great little spiritual 04:18 gangster guy there are a couple more 04:21 that i love 04:22 i'll grab another spiritual gangster 04:24 just to show you this be happy i feel 04:26 like these are kind of sister tanks 04:28 but if you're looking for something in a 04:29 more neutral color this gray 04:31 is a great one same exact cut again true 04:34 to size unless you want a little bit 04:35 more room in the bust and then i would 04:37 go up one 04:39 of course we know chaser makes an 04:41 amazing tank 04:43 and so many options here now here's how 04:46 i think chaser tanks fit different than 04:48 spiritual gangster 04:49 they tend to be a little bit more 04:50 generous a little bit more relaxed 04:52 i also think just the nature of their 04:54 fabrics they really 04:55 wash things down so two fun options here 04:58 if you like that destination idea i mean 05:02 let's dream about this joshua tree what 05:03 a fun trip that would be i'm gonna maybe 05:05 put that on my list of places to check 05:07 out 05:07 love this little guy and i think it's a 05:09 nice one too because this is so easy to 05:11 wear 05:11 back to a cut off and just a little bit 05:14 maybe more neutral 05:16 than some of these more saturated colors 05:18 like this guy 05:19 so this is a fun one from chaser i love 05:22 the idea of a graphic that doesn't 05:23 necessarily have words on it so 05:25 this pineapple is really fun i actually 05:27 was kind of going back and forth on 05:29 whether or not i should wear this with 05:30 this skirt 05:30 maybe i'll give you guys a little peek 05:32 so you can see what this looks like now 05:34 this chaser tank is fun because it's a 05:36 more 05:36 of a racerback kind of silhouette and 05:40 has a deeper scoop so i know for some of 05:42 us we like that 05:44 and gives us gives us like a little bit 05:47 less coverage you want to open up that 05:50 neckline a little bit more i think 05:51 that's really nice in particular 05:53 if you have a little bit more curve on 05:56 top 05:57 or i also sometimes i like this razor 06:00 back silhouette 06:01 for broad shoulders i have pretty broad
