a bunch of great0:32options on how to dress for the heat so0:36curious if you are bearing down and0:39living through this heat let me know0:41what's happening in your neck of the0:43woods so curious about those0:45temperatures and how you are staying0:48cool okay so let's start from the0:50beginning i had to pop a sweater on and0:53it is a sweater so don't shoot the0:56messenger on this one but I will tell0:58you what's so awesome about it is that1:00it is crazy lightweight so this is one1:04of those perfect sweaters to grab when1:07you're going out on the boat you're1:08going to be on the beach up at a cabin1:11or a lakehouse or a cottage or just in1:15super crazy air conditioning that's why1:18I love it it is literally as light as a1:20t-shirt $64 from Zupply nav this puppy1:24while you can before it sells out before1:26the Fourth of July it's such a fun one i1:30love this little roll detail on the1:31sleeve just makes it feel easy i'm1:34actually wearing an extra small in this1:36one so it does run generous and then for1:38a little change of pace I'm pairing it1:40back to this fabulous cut from skirt1:42what's so fun about this is all the1:44drawstring detail1:46when it's hot outside one of the last1:48things I want to do I'm going to be1:50honest is accessorize myself up and that1:52includes adding a belt so this1:53drawstring does that for you you don't1:55have to think twice about it and then1:57we're grabbing our summer staple it is2:00absolutely Burke season gang and here is2:02the reason I love this particular Burke2:05check out the fun hammered buckle detail2:07on this and it's more of a high shine2:10gives you just a little bit of elevation2:12i'd say this is more of a bone white so2:14it feels I don't know a touch more2:17dressed up dare I say for a Burke and2:20it's super friendly with dresses as well2:22as this great little skirt and of course2:25shorts speaking of let's talk about some2:28great short looks so in this hot hot2:31weather the short that I reached for2:33again and again and again and highly2:36highly recommend is the Joelle so the2:40reason I love this it is a universal2:43incredibly flattering fit linen with2:47lots and lots of stretch so if you've2:49been a big fan of that Joelle pant we2:52brought it in in a short comes in four2:54fabulous colors all right for that2:57holiday week so white red your staple3:00black and this really really cute kind3:03of denim wash love this feels like a3:06chamé but it's in linen so so easy just3:09to throw this guy on and again because3:11of that front button detail wear a belt3:14or don't kind of up to you now how I'm3:16pairing this let's talk about a couple3:18options we can go all in on the holiday3:21season keep it super simple michael3:23Star's rib tank i love this guy you can3:26see it's a little bit more of an easy3:28breezy fit compared to that LNA tank3:30that we all love and adore single layer3:33red and white stripe with the rib and3:34that navy trim so cute if you want just3:37a little bit more arm coverage and want3:39something that's just maybe a touch off3:42of the typical I had to pull this out3:45this is so darn cute this is from3:47Zaretta i love the shape of this and3:50this is what I think makes this so3:52modern it's really easy to throw on a3:54t-shirt and I will tell you I was like3:56on a hunt for a t-shirt like this all3:59weekend little bit more of a drop4:01shoulder little bit boxier sleeve and a4:04slightly I mean slightly shorter length4:08makes this a really good pairing for a4:10great little short or even this fun4:12skirt and I love that this is bringing4:15in coral a little pink a little bit of4:17like blue so it doesn't feel quite so on4:20the nose but still feels really fresh4:22and fun4:24another little gray tea and I like this4:26one because I think it feels a little4:28bit more dressed up so if you're heading4:29to like say a backyard barbecue4:31someone's throwing a party you're going4:33to be inside tuck this tag in so you can4:36see i think the shape on this muscle tea4:39is really really fun and modern and also4:42this feels great for work so tuck this4:45in to a great pair of Joelle widelegg4:47pants cropped or full length totally4:50polished totally finished really really4:52easy to wear in fabulous Pima cotton on4:55this one which all you need to know4:58about that is that it's super soft5:00washes beautifully highly breathable and5:03so so flattering because of that great5:05drape such a cute one5:08if we're going to go a little more cash5:10a little more easy breezy I'm loving5:13this guy okay here is the deal this is5:15like kind of channeling that 70s5:20sleeveless sweatshirt vibe i'm thinking5:22about that 70s show but in the coolest5:24way possible comes in two washes this5:28beautiful denim blue as well as your5:30classic gray now what separates this5:33from like that old sweatshirt in the5:34back of your closet that you hacked up5:36is all the design details so I love this5:39seaming here super flattering little bit5:42of a cutaway on that shoulder so really5:45really nice not too low of an armhole so5:48still can wear a great easy bra with5:51this one and that washed down detail5:54that makes it look lived in vintage so5:57cute pop this puppy on with your little6:01Joelle Chamé i love that for a6:03monochromatic look but also love the6:05contrast here with the gray is so cute6:09back to that blue just fun easy like6:12great piece of pop on also a really good6:14one for the boat so if you're going to6:16be popping on your swimsuit you need a6:18little bit of a layer but nothing too6:20heavy want those arms out this is a6:21great option to slip on6:26okay can we talk about one of the6:28easiest ways to elevate your look this6:30summer it's all about that great open6:33weave sweaters and especially when it6:37comes in more of a tank or vest6:40silhouette total home run so we're going6:43to start with my favorite this is from6:45Velvet i'll pop this on in just a second6:47comes in two versions two dip dye6:49versions i am a sucker sucker sucker for6:53this blue it is so gorgeous if you're6:57more of a neutral gal I'm here for you i7:00get it we also have this gorgeous cream7:02to kind of a khaki tone lots of7:05questions always about these what to7:07wear underneath well sometimes the weave7:09is just tight enough that you can get7:11away with a skin tone bra and you're7:14just fine i think this one's a little7:16bit more open so if you're feeling bold7:18go for it if you want a little bit more7:20coverage pop on a simple cami easy easy7:24easy to wear underneath and then wear7:26this again back to a great pair of linen7:28shorts or you could dress it up a little7:30bit maybe with a longer short or even7:33with one of your linen pants such a7:35great sweater i mean how cute is that7:37you guys is blue it's just Oh it looks7:40like the ocean so gorgeous just want to7:42wear it all the time7:45another really cute option though is7:47this vest from Barley now why I love7:50this one actually is a little bit of7:52this longer length so I think what this7:54does kind of elongates the body here is7:57a fun suggestion on how to wear this i8:00would take this vest i open it up pop it8:03on with a tank top underneath that shows8:06a little bit of skin reminder I'm8:09keeping the vest open and then I would8:10pair it back to a longer short we've had8:13lots and lots of questions about how to8:16style this longer short especially if8:19you have shorter legs so couple of8:22suggestions I will throw out right away8:24find the one that works for you and8:27longer kind of like denim doesn't always8:30mean that length is a perfect fit it's a8:32raw hem gang so if you need it to be a8:35little bit shorter cut it off i think8:37when it hits the knee especially with8:39the raw hem it's getting awfully long on8:42the leg and that can be really hard to8:45pull off so make sure you're getting8:47that right length i like mine to hit a8:49like a couple inches above my knee it's8:52so much longer than the shorts we've all8:54been wearing for years and years and8:55years so it's going to feel like a8:57dramatic change but something that just8:59gives you a little bit more coverage my9:02second piece of advice get on a shoe9:05with a little bit of lift it can be a9:07wedge it can be a kitten heel it can be9:09a sandal with just a little bit of lift9:11to it whatever you wear I like something9:14that gives me a little bit of height and9:16I go neutral so it kind of disappears9:19and then last but not least is that9:21length place so long plus long open with9:25a tank underneath and a belt is really9:28going to elongate that eye and help9:30stretch out that look so I think that9:34also helps last piece of advice and I'll9:36pop this shirt with it just so you can9:39see this idea gang show some skin when9:42you're wearing a longer short get those9:45arms bare show off that neckline give9:49yourself some skin to balance out the9:51coverage that you're giving in the leg9:53this is a really really nice piece to9:55kind of counter so I'm grabbing this9:57great short this is from POA now I love10:00this short because it's a little bit of10:01a slimmer fit i also find this helps10:04when you're looking for that longer10:06short to fit and flatter so little bit10:09longer length on this one little bit10:11slimmer leg and then I'm going to show10:13off my arms in this fabulous little top10:15from Velvet comes no11:20problem and again so darn light if you11:24want something a little bit more dressed11:26up I had to grab this cutie cutie from11:28Rails gang this is a cotton voil so it11:32is like wearing nothing i was wearing a11:35cotton foil shirt this weekend here in11:36Minneapolis when it was over 100° and11:39like the wind kicked up and I was like11:40"H this is the best nothing is touching11:43my body and I feel so comfortable."
