Start Seeing Fall

0:00All right, good morning. I'm back. It's0:02a rack full of new arrivals and let's0:04get into it. I'm Ash Ever, senior0:06director of styling, and we are walking0:08through this week's new arrivals, which0:10are so good because what's happening0:11here in the north is it's probably our0:13fake fall. It's got to be our fake fall0:15because right now it's like 60° out.0:17It's amazing. You're like, should I whip0:18out my sweaters? I'm going to. I can0:21still rock with my shorts. Favorite0:22season sweatshirt and shorts. Sweater0:23and shorts. And then I bet in about two0:27weeks here, it's going to get 90° again.0:29And and then we're just going to try to0:30make all these fall styles work. But we0:33asked you what you were most excited0:36about for fall this season. And we heard0:38you. It's stripes. It's neutral colors.0:41And guess what? We have some fun new0:43brands on this rack. We have stripes. We0:45have neutral colors. And we're going to0:46walk you through it. So, let's start0:47with my outfit first because I'm so0:50obsessed with this new American Vintage0:53sweater. This is one way that I can wear0:55it. And I'm like thinking of all the0:57different ways that I'm going to wear0:58this crew. About 75% of this whole1:02sweater is natural fiber. So wool,1:04alpaca. I'm obsessed with the color and1:08the quality of these pieces. So so fun.1:11I just kept this um closed, treated as a1:14popover. Paired it with because again1:17fake fall here. Let's all remember that.1:19Our cut bestselling cut Haley short.1:21That long short here. This is like maybe1:23a jean. If my husband's watching it,1:25he's like, "Please take these shorts1:27off." He is not a Jord fan. I will1:30definitely hear about it. But I'm1:31obsessed. Little belt to create shape in1:33the waist. And then check out these new1:36little moccasins. How fun are these with1:38the stud detail? Just a great1:40alternative of taking your Burks and1:42sliding them into something new this1:44fall. I'm here for this outfit. It feels1:46so good. I'm so obsessed with this1:48sweater. And I'm wearing a size medium1:49crew. So, just to give you a heads up.1:51Okay. Another strip we're loving from1:53American Vintage. And I'm so obsessed1:55with this color, purple. I think this1:57would be so beautiful with some dark1:58denim this fall or any of those2:00chocolate tones. It feels super2:02lightweight and I'm just ready for that2:04pop of color. This would look really2:06great over a just a basic white crew2:08neck tea or if you love a great white2:10button-d down to pair this over it. It's2:12amazing. This is the NB striped2:15pullover. It's in striped Pedro. Oh,2:19she's so pretty. I'm so obsessed. This2:21would be like another really beautiful2:23lightweight color palette, but such a2:26beautiful stripe. Then if you just want2:28a bold, easy pullover, obsessed with2:31this cobalt blue. I feel like this never2:32goes out of style. This is such a2:35gorgeous color. I'm thinking back to2:36vegan, back to chocolate. Again, your2:39cut off shorts are super easy. A little2:41black slide sandal. Actually, a black2:44cowboy boot would be so cute with the2:46shorts and this blue sweater. So yummy.2:49And then again, the cardigan I'm2:51wearing. So good. Cardigans are making a2:53comeback. So a fun piece, versatile2:55piece within your wardrobe. And this is2:56the Veto striped cardigan. The color.3:00I'm so obsessed. Okay.3:03Um, can you just highlight your3:04moccasins?3:05Yes. So our moccasins, I think this is3:07um Vince Camudo. So fun, you guys. This3:10suede is incredibly soft. I have a wide3:13foot. I was like, "Oh, is my foot going3:14to fit into it?" And they feel so so3:17comfortable. It almost feels like it has3:19some support in the inside. I'm just3:21obsessed with that stud cuz it gives it3:23a bit more edge. Makes it feel a bit3:25more elevated than that really casual3:27moccasin. Okay, another thing that's3:29having a moment this fall, graphics are3:32making their way back. Fun little3:34graphics, photo graphics, fun just easy3:38peasy updates from American Vintage. I3:41love this banded waist um waistband just3:45cuz it's creating a bit more shape. It3:47feels really easy. It's going to3:48elongate the leg now with that like high3:50mid-rise denim. You just have this on3:52top. So, it's not so oversized and3:53slouchy. Fun color combo with that pop3:56of red. Pair back to um this burgundy.4:00And there's just like all these fun4:01little graphics, but just an easy4:02upgrade to that elevated Saturday4:04weekend.4:06Fun fun fun new graphic line that we4:09just brought in. This is called Cress4:11Crew. Really fun female graphics on the4:15top in some really classic neutral4:17colors. Obsessed with this one. Cowboy4:19hat. That great little bandana. This is4:21called C side Press Studio. This is the4:24come and go cozy sweatshirt. Just around4:27$100. Such a fun vibe. Now, what I love4:31what's happening with graphics right4:32now, this is not your ordinary Saturday4:36style graphic. This are this. Welcome.4:40Hello Monday. These are the new upgrade4:42to that night out vibes. So whether4:44you're meeting up with girlfriends here4:45before back to school starts or you're4:46sneaking in those date nights. I know4:48there's like concerts happening4:50everywhere that end of the summer get4:52togethers. This is such a fun new4:55graphic vibe to do with like your4:57favorite pair of jeans, a great boot.4:58You could do this with like a denim5:00skirt, your cut off shorts, a more5:02elevated shoe. Fun update to your night5:04out vibe. Loving this one. It's kind of5:07like that end of the summer with a5:08guitar there. like any country concerts5:10you still have happening here. Look at that lace detailing5:52in this really beautiful cream. It also5:54like it's not see-through. So, it's just5:55that really beautiful lace detail. What5:58I love about this is this is true6:00cotton, so you're not going to overheat.6:02We styled with this I think last spring6:04as we were prepping for a lot of our6:06fall campaign stuff. We layered this6:07under a blazer. Great track pant or dark6:10clean denim. So yummy. Just like a fun6:13new take on a blouse. But I'm obsessed6:15with any of these like feminine details.6:17Especially that juxosition with the6:18sweatshirt. Just adds the right amount6:20of edge. This is Paige and this is the6:23Nimona sweatshirt. And I'm obsessed.6:26Like how cute. Actually this would be so6:28cute together. Cut off jean moccasin. I6:30mean, this feels like an elevated little6:32Saturday vibe throw here. Okay,6:35beautiful, beautiful new blouses from6:38Paige. I am particularly obsessed with6:41this guy. This fun little like ditzy6:43flower grounded in navy. She feels6:45really feminine, but yet there's like6:47this sexiness, sheerness within this6:49top. The back is absolutely stunning.6:52I'm thinking this boot cut jean, a great6:54clog. Here's like those back to school6:57conferences. you have any work6:59conferences, just that more elevated7:01night out. I'm not talking like date7:03night. It could be date night, but just7:04like an easy peasy beautiful blouse,7:07just like cute top, jeans, you're done.7:09I think they styled this for our website7:11with a really cute mini denim skirt7:14because minis are in. So, a fun little7:15juosition between that flowy top. I'm7:18just going to keep doing this cuz it7:20just flows so beautifully. So, if you7:21still want to wear that long sleeve, but7:23you still have that again high heat here7:26for the next month and a half, this is7:27going to be a really beautiful blouse to7:28pair back with it. This is called the7:29Bivana blouse. And she is she is7:32bibbying. She is gorgeous. Okay. And7:36then if you want more of a short sleeve,7:39that long sleeve still really too warm.7:41Beautiful blush tone. I'm thinking we7:44have the most amazing chocolate pasta7:46widele jean in right now. If you're7:49looking to like upgrade your work7:50wardrobe, this top, that chocolate7:55denim, great studded belt. I mean, talk7:57about work unbuttoned, just a fun, fresh7:59take for that work look. This top is8:01stunning. That sheerness again adds a8:03little bit of edge, so it's not too8:05feminine, but this pink is absolutely8:07gorgeous. And again, just that whole8:09gathering across the back is so so8:11pretty. Okay. And then last but not8:14least, because a denim dress is always a8:16win in your wardrobe, especially for8:19fall, because you put on your favorite8:20fall boot, cowboy boot, you could still8:21do it with a moccasin. Fun new update to8:25this page denim dress. We've had8:27iterations of this fall after fall. I'm8:30loving this dark clean denim. Check out8:32that pocket detail with this little8:34charm throughout here. Just makes it8:35feel a little bit more polished, pulled8:37together. This would be great for a work8:39wear look, which is a tall, clean black8:41boot. Loving like a brighter gold8:42throughout here. Crew, these Paige denim8:45dresses. Same way that Paige does her8:47denim. Creates incredible shape on a8:49woman's body. She does the exact same8:51thing with these dresses. All that8:53darting throughout here is just creating8:55shape in a woman's body. That is8:58amazing. So, loving this new dark rinse9:00in here from Paige. And then Ever has a9:05fun new denim dress drop, which I'm just9:07thinking like still those fall concerts.9:10You still have events. It's like a9:12little bit of hit of western, but9:14there's a little edge in here and a9:15rocker vibe. Washed denim. Loving this9:18like easy shift shape because you just9:20pop it on like when in doubt, you toss9:22this on, you look really pulled9:23together. Loving all these stud details9:25here just to give it a bit of edge.9:28Great length. We had a version of this9:29last year in a long sleeve denim dress.9:31Perfect length. I have little kids. I9:33can bend over. I don't feel like my9:35whole life is hanging out throughout9:36there. But what's really fun about these9:38short sleeve denim dresses is as it9:41actually starts to cool down, if you're9:42not in true fake fall like we are here,9:45you put one of our favorite fitted9:46layering tees underneath. Gives you that9:48added warmth. But super fun. This you9:51should always have like an updated denim9:52dress within your fall wardrobe because9:54it just feels like that easy peasy when9:57a denim dress. And I'm loving these9:58little added hits of studs.10:00A question.10:01Yes. Would you how would you style it?10:03Would you put a belt on the denim10:04dresses or10:05Oh, good question. So, the question is10:07if we should add a belt or not. So, this10:10is one that you actually could add a10:11belt if you really wanted to. I feel10:14like it's not necessary just because if10:16you look at the seaming throughout this10:19whole dress and those little princess10:20seams throughout here, this is already10:23creating shape for you specifically10:25within this style where a belt's really10:26not needed. And I think if you did add a10:29belt, it might compete just a bit with10:31these fun little details on the pocket.10:33So the reason for a belt for the dress,10:36I feel like the seaming on this is10:37already doing this for you. And then for10:40this denim dress guy, I think TBD, it10:43feels very square and shift. And in this10:45fabrication of that heavier weight10:47denim, my fear is if you do add a belt10:50throughout there, you're going to have a10:51lot of little bunching that maybe10:53doesn't feel as flattering as you want10:55it to. Now, if this was like a really10:57beautiful more of a satin or this type11:02of fabrication from Paige, adding a belt11:04here would be absolutely necessary cuz11:06it would create shape. It lay really11:08nicely. But sometimes that belt over a11:11denim dress can feel really bulky. So, I11:14would opt not to add a belt, but I think11:17if you're like, I'd feel a lot more11:19confident, go for it.11:20Question number.11:22Can you compare the legs? compare the11:24Okay, great question. Okay, so this is a11:28page size four. This is an ever small.11:30That's a comparable size. So the lengths11:32throughout here, I'm trying to like be11:33very particular11:36that um every one is probably a solid11:39inch longer than the page one throughout11:43here. So I'm 5'8. I'm for sure not a11:46size small throughout here. I don't11:49know. Is it as long as my shorts crew?11:51Oh, no. It's much shorter. Okay. Well,11:54this is your Haley 8 in short. So,11:56definitely shorter. This is the worst11:58measurement. It's longer than my finger.12:00It's shorter than my fingertips. So,12:01here's the deal. You got a lot of12:03coverage. This feels a bit more12:05sophisticated, especially in a denim12:07dress. Show a little leg. Show a little12:08skin. So, my petite gals, this is12:10probably your best option throughout12:12here. But, I do know that this one runs12:15a little bit longer and is probably the12:16maybe a little bit shorter on my shorts12:18cuz I have the version of this from last12:19year. And it definitely is in a really12:22great appropriate length. So that's a12:24really scientific way to tell you the12:26length of these dresses is just by me12:29holding them up. But the page is12:30definitely smaller. I think this would12:31be such a great fit for a more petite12:33gal. But if you got some legs that you12:36feel proud of, rock it. And then the12:38ever one does fit along a little bit12:40longer. And just as a reminder here,12:41this is definitely more of a shift with12:44shift shift shape here. So it's not12:46going to um fit as snug and tight to the12:48body. Okay, last two fun pieces from12:52Evereve. Again, fake fall, still hot and12:55summer. We're still going to have some12:57warm weather here for the next couple12:58months. So, loving these like updated13:01open weave sweaters from Evereve. Loving13:03this cardigan with these really bold13:06buttons throughout the front here.13:08Updated work wear. This is such a fun13:10updated travel sweater that would be so13:12great over your basic white tea, your13:14favorite travel pant. Really fun update.13:16Yep. And she's she's an open weave, so13:18she's light and airy, but I'm loving13:20that in that really beautiful burgundy13:22color. This or Veno, excuse me. Veno13:24color. Emmery open stitch cardigan. This13:26is from Evereve. So beautiful. I love13:29the slouch of this. And then one of my13:31favorites because I'm just hungry for13:32color right now. I'm ready for it. Feels13:35really fresh and fun. Really beautiful13:38new sweater vest from Evereve. I'm13:40loving like this really bold blue pair13:42back to these bold buttons. This is the13:44Channing open stitch cardigan. This13:46would be so fun with one of we have our13:49Evereve track pant and that navy stripe13:51which would be stunning back to this.13:53Um, and this could be a really fun13:55unbuttoned work with a layer underneath13:57here, a little basic white t-shirt or a13:59tank top.
