0:00 [Music] 0:00 foreign 0:02 [Music] 0:08 friends it's Mal happy March we are 0:12 finally finally into the transition 0:14 closer to Spring and today I just wanted 0:17 to talk about date night I don't know 0:18 about you I have a date night coming up 0:20 this weekend I was thinking about you I 0:22 was thinking about warm weather and cold 0:24 weather and what are we doing right now 0:26 for date night to go out have a little 0:28 fun and enjoy so I know for my husband 0:31 and I our go-to spot is this little 0:33 Whiskey Bar it's around the corner from 0:35 our home great cocktails great 0:37 charcuterie and I can't wait to go so uh 0:41 first outfit here I wanted to talk about 0:42 transitioning to Spring but also staying 0:45 warm so yes you know I live in Chicago 0:48 we are about to get another little 0:50 snowstorm and so I want an outfit that 0:53 has a nod to Spring but also something 0:56 I'm not going to freeze in 0:59 um so I love this little Bliss jacket by 1:02 NYC this is in our current catalog and 1:05 you can see it's kind of a cream color 1:07 really really pretty silhouette great 1:11 texture throughout it's kind of a waffle 1:13 comb texture and then you've got these 1:15 great little pops of spring colors with 1:17 the coral the blue and just nice kind of 1:20 prints that help create a great little 1:22 silhouette this is a fun little jacket 1:25 because you can kind of play with how 1:26 you want to wear it I like it with the 1:27 collar kind of popped up wear it a 1:29 little open and then I just had it 1:31 layered with a very simple perfect white 1:33 tee I love these t-shirts I'll kind of 1:35 take this off here a little bit as you 1:37 can see they're not super long they've 1:40 got a great little cap sleeve to them 1:41 they come in white black gray all your 1:44 Basics they're a great little addition 1:45 and aptly named perfect white tea and I 1:49 love a v-neck for us curvy gals just 1:51 gives us a little bit of more definition 1:52 in the neckline and then you can kind of 1:55 play with your sleeves here again I'm 1:57 thinking cold weather I'll wear it a 1:59 little bit longer the great thing about 2:00 this jacket if you are in a warmer 2:03 weather climate and you just want this 2:04 for a little layer in the evenings this 2:06 would be a perfect White like 2:08 lightweight layer so I like this for all 2:12 seasons and then I just have it paired 2:14 back to Denim I don't know about you but 2:16 date night for me does not always need 2:18 to be super dressy sometimes I just want 2:20 to look put together and have on a 2:21 little sneaker so I have this paired 2:24 back to the AG Mari 2:27 crop and this is a great story of I've 2:30 got to tell you I don't normally wear a 2:32 g it's not a brand that I go to but I've 2:35 been hearing from our stylists in stores 2:36 that this is just a universal fit it 2:39 works on almost every body type and so I 2:41 wanted to try it on see how it works for 2:43 me I agree I love it 2:46 um it is a crop that it's a longer crop 2:48 so again I'm 5'7 for reference it's a 2:51 great medium wash it is a nice slim 2:54 straight leg which I feel like many of 2:56 our customers come in wanting and just a 2:58 little bit 3:01 but not much 3:02 um great this is just so comfortable 3:05 lightweight it's got a little bit of 3:07 stretch in it but I really love this and 3:10 I could see where it works on all body 3:11 types and then I just have a little p448 3:14 let me take this off so you can see it 3:16 this is the Ariel sneaker I'm really 3:19 loving a clean sneaker right now but you 3:22 can kind of see the base of this is a 3:23 bit more of a platform so I love that 3:27 this looks a little bit dressier because 3:29 of the way that p448 has done this 3:31 bottom then just a little pop of a 3:33 statement ring for fun because it's date 3:35 night a little hoop earring to add a 3:37 little Pizzazz to my jeans and my 3:40 sneakers okay next look for date night 3:43 so this is something a little bit more 3:46 traditional kind of going out you want 3:48 to get a little kind of a sexier vibe to 3:50 it but how do you get pieces that are 3:52 really going to work for multiple things 3:54 in your wardrobe um so let me start with 3:56 this little top this is a great little 3:58 new date night Top This is a crochet 4:01 tank by 525. I love them they do great 4:03 sweaters and this is a great little 4:06 crochet tank that you could wear now 4:08 that's going to take you all through the 4:10 summer if you're cold weather like me 4:12 I'm probably going to throw on a little 4:13 blazer with this right a little sweet 4:14 jacket something over the top but the 4:17 great thing about picking up this little 4:18 crochet tank is you're going to wear 4:20 this with your skirts and your shorts 4:22 through the summer and what a great 4:23 little date night out top have it paired 4:26 back to Denim that's my go-to for date 4:27 night I'm picking for you what stylists 4:31 are saying are the go-to denim styles 4:33 for all body types right now so this one 4:36 is by citizens it's the Lila high-rise 4:39 boot cut while it is high rise I I will 4:41 say it doesn't feel super high-rise on 4:43 me and I have I have a tight little 4:46 waist on me so 4:47 um this actually I think would fit a lot 4:49 of different people closer to a mid-rise 4:51 it's that boot cut which I love for date 4:53 night makes your legs look long and lean 4:55 and then pairing it back to a little bit 4:57 more of a heel instead of a sneaker this 4:59 is our corkies so Corky's is easy right 5:03 because you're going to get that Comfort 5:04 but you get a little bit of the heel a 5:06 little bit of that sexier Vibe and then 5:08 if you're in cold weather like me you're 5:10 probably going to go back to more of 5:11 like your clog something a little closed 5:14 toe but look at that that would be so 5:16 fun same thing different climate but boy 5:18 if you've got the weather get the toes 5:20 out sounds like fun to me 5:22 um let me go back to the citizen Jean 5:24 for just a minute I also love this wash 5:26 so as you're picking up new denim 5:28 heading into the spring season start 5:30 taking a look at those lighter washes 5:32 they're going to give you life all the 5:33 way through those summer nights when you 5:35 go out and again love this boot cut but 5:39 for again for reference I'm 5'7 so it's 5:41 not super super long I think a lot of 5:43 women are going to get away with this 5:44 without tailoring which is always a nice 5:46 little tip so Lila by citizens high-rise
