last couple 00:17 weeks we have gotten in a fantastic 00:20 variety of even more denim i'm going to 00:22 start with this pair of denim that i'm 00:24 wearing from ammo 00:25 if that's a new brand for you it's 00:27 spelled amo 00:29 all caps we are loving this one the one 00:32 that i have on right now is called the 00:33 frida 00:35 she is a high rise 00:37 she has a wide leg i'm just going to 00:38 show you from the side here a little bit 00:40 so she's got that wide leg but it goes 00:42 straight down the shape and then there 00:44 is some distressing right here on the 00:46 bottom which keeps it very current and 00:49 then i'm wearing it with some slides 00:51 we'll talk about the um 00:52 the shoes in a little bit but i just 00:54 wanted to show you at 5 9 where it hits 00:57 me i'm wearing these are probably about 00:58 three inches uh three and a half inches 01:00 tall um but even if i were to wear them 01:04 like with a flat they would still just 01:05 skim the floor um at five nine so those 01:08 petite gals um you can still wear these 01:11 you would just um cut them and then the 01:13 distressing will naturally happen as you 01:15 wash them but you're still going to have 01:17 that same shape even if you need to trim 01:18 them up a little there's some 01:19 distressing on the pockets if you can 01:21 see right here which i love that little 01:22 detail um they are and 01:25 i would say an ecru color not a bright 01:28 white a lot of times i think sometimes 01:29 people think that bright white is just 01:31 for summer so this little ecru color is 01:33 great for spring you can wear it all 01:35 summer long but i think it's like you 01:37 can just kind of step your toe into 01:39 those new 01:40 newer season colors so this echo color 01:43 is a great way to transition all right 01:46 i paired it with this nation top we've 01:48 talked to about nation tops and how much 01:49 i love them 01:51 the again why do i love them the shape 01:53 it always gives you a little bit of 01:55 shape it has these tiny tiny little like 01:57 forms in the shoulder it's not like a 01:59 big shoulder pad per se and i'm a pretty 02:02 broad shoulder person it just kind of 02:04 accentuates it's a little bit so it 02:05 keeps that shape of the little puff 02:07 sleeve on the shoulder um and then it 02:10 has just a little um binding here at the 02:12 wrist and you know me i always kind of 02:14 like to just pucker it up a little bit 02:15 to create a little more shape 02:17 and the fabrication it looks such like 02:20 such an elevated blouse but the fabric 02:22 is so soft it's almost like a t-shirt 02:25 fabric so it's very comfortable um but 02:28 again you look really elevated and then 02:30 the shoes let's talk about the shoes 02:31 again because you know i always love the 02:32 shoes these are um from dolce vita um 02:36 they are kind of i know we've talked to 02:38 about kind of almost like this coffee 02:40 um color or kind of like this mocha 02:43 color um it has some really fun i'm just 02:45 gonna take them off and show you a 02:46 little closer add some little gold um 02:48 grommets on the side which is just a fun 02:50 detail and then the 02:52 the heel is this nice thick wood block 02:55 heel 02:56 just with beautiful wood tones in it 02:58 which i just love and again with that 03:00 wider block 03:02 it keeps you stable and the pitch on 03:04 that isn't very high so you still get a 03:05 little bit of the height but your foot 03:07 isn't at such an elevation where you're 03:09 feeling a little bit tippy look number 03:11 two for the denim are you ready 03:13 shorts 03:14 don't be scared don't be scared you 03:16 might be going on vacation you might be 03:18 getting ready for spring 03:20 get out those cute sun tanned legs or 03:23 just that self tanner pan them up and 03:25 get those shorts on girls because 03:27 we can confidently wear these these are 03:29 my favorite shorts i get them 03:32 every year i get a new pair i'm going to 03:33 be honest with you the last three years 03:35 i just keep adding to my collection 03:36 because i love them so much sometimes 03:38 they change the color a bit sometimes 03:39 they change the length of it these are 03:41 eagle leaves these are the parker longs 03:45 now at my age i like a longer denim 03:49 jean shorts they just cover a little 03:51 more i feel a little more confident in 03:53 them they're also a high rise so as we 03:55 always say they keep everything in 03:57 distressing on the bottom distressing on 03:59 the top it kind of has that really fun 04:01 summer look but it doesn't feel like a 04:04 daisy duke right um so again love loving 04:07 these shorts i paired this one with just 04:09 this little basic michael stars um 04:12 v-neck tank comes in numerous colors and 04:15 keep them all in your closet because 04:16 they're great good grab-and-go as you 04:18 head out and they are great layering 04:19 pieces and i layered it underneath this 04:22 darling harriet isles 04:25 haley paisley wrap um why do i love this 04:29 wrap first of all look at the coloring 04:31 it's kind of almost like a really deep 04:34 green brown and then it has of course 04:36 some like little white paisleys in there 04:38 along with that little mocha color that 04:40 we talked about so be even cute with 04:42 those little fun shoes that i showed you 04:43 before and then just a titch of a really 04:46 dark teal in there so such warm fun 04:48 colors for spring we're heading into 04:50 summer 04:51 i also love this because 04:54 again sometimes you're traveling or 04:55 seasons change it's too warm for a jean 04:57 jacket so you need still something 04:59 that's going to give you a little bit of 05:01 coverage and honestly give some 05:02 dimension to your outfit so it's not 05:04 just a tank top and shorts this is easy 05:06 breezy look at this this is genius 05:09 there's a little bit of a gathering here 05:12 so a lot of times when those wraps once 05:14 you put your arms through it's a big 05:16 armhole and they kind of fall off of you 05:18 this one i love because it does have a 05:20 little bit of that banding and then i 05:22 just push it up a little bit and it 05:23 creates a little more of a shape for you 05:25 and it stays on which i love it stays on 05:28 okay ah this whole thing i paired with 05:30 these darling birkenstocks you can't go 05:33 wrong with these birkenstocks a 05:35 beautiful brown i would say like a 05:37 little caramel color with a little go 05:39 detailing here it's got a little bit of 05:41 that ecru color 05:43 that i shared with you in the jeans 05:45 right across the bottom and again so 05:47 comfortable great for vacation great for 05:49 walking all day long and just a great 05:52 go-to for summer 05:53 another thing i wanted to share with you 05:55 is if you are not quite ready to dip 05:57 your toe into the shorts yet those ammo 06:00 jeans that i showed you you can keep 06:01 this complete outfit on and just put the 06:04 ammo jeans that i shared with you before 06:06 all together you can do neutral on 06:09 neutral which gives you a really clean 06:10 look you know i like that one and done 06:12 and then um like i had shared before um 06:15 you can wear these jeans just with a 06:16 flat slide on um so that's a fun way to 06:19 just keep the outfit
