00:17 around here the past couple of weeks 00:20 i've got another whole week before my 00:21 kids go back to school and we've got no 00:23 one to watch them except for me and i'm 00:25 kind of watching with like one eye sort 00:26 of half watching while i'm trying to 00:28 work and they're doing god knows what 00:30 we're just hoping everyone makes it that 00:31 these next two weeks alive pools are 00:33 closed there's no camps like wha what 00:36 what do we do this this end of summer i 00:39 don't know but i know what i'm thinking 00:41 about 00:42 i'm thinking about fall you know that 00:44 we're going to come at you and we're 00:45 going to have that fall hit list of 00:47 everything you need to update your 00:48 closet to get yourself up to speed but 00:51 there are times that i'm feeling that 00:53 itch right about now i don't know about 00:54 any of you where i just want 00:57 a cute 00:58 top those fun new tops that you pop in 01:01 your closet and gives you a little boost 01:04 in your wardrobe and i've got some super 01:07 fun ones here today we're just gonna run 01:09 through some great new trends some 01:11 really great pieces some easy knits some 01:13 wovens kind of all the things that i 01:16 think will give you just that jolt of 01:18 refresh that you need in your closet 01:20 right now before you go hog wild and get 01:23 that whole closet updated i've been 01:25 hearing from so many people 01:27 that you just kind of skipped last fall 01:30 and now you're looking in your closet 01:31 and you're thinking i have not bought 01:32 anything since 2019 and this is a 01:34 problem and we need to address it so 01:37 let's start with tops because that's the 01:38 easiest so i've got some great new 01:40 blouses i've got some easy knits i've 01:43 got kind of a fun little sweater 01:45 category that's great for transition but 01:47 let's start with blouses and ps i do 01:50 have like a little jean moment that i 01:52 want to share with you so but let's 01:53 start with the blouses so here's the 01:54 deal there is this fun 01:57 kind of moment happening 01:59 with woven tops now i don't know about 02:01 all of you but if your closet looks 02:03 anything like mine it's full of a heck 02:05 of a lot of sweatshirts and t-shirts 02:06 that i've been accumulating over the 02:08 past year and i'm ready for something 02:10 that feels just a touch more dressed up 02:12 now not dressy i hear ya 02:14 we're not totally going all out yet or 02:17 maybe you are and you're ready to fully 02:18 embrace it but i want things that still 02:20 feel comfortable i've been spoiled i 02:22 want it to feel good on me but helps 02:24 dress up my jeans maybe brings me out at 02:27 night or just helps me feel a little bit 02:28 more put together if i'm going into the 02:30 office or meeting girlfriends or frankly 02:32 just want to get dressed in the day so 02:34 we're going to start with this amazing 02:36 riley top 02:38 reasons why i love this guy it's a woven 02:41 it's a straight cut i tucked it in to a 02:43 pair of higher rise denim 02:45 really really comfy if you are 02:48 kind of on the fence about embracing 02:49 this more feminine trend 02:51 i'm kind of calling it much like that 02:53 dress we love the modern boho blouse 02:56 it doesn't need to be crazy dramatic now 02:59 i'm going to have some really fun drama 03:00 pieces to show you but i popped this one 03:02 on first because i think this is an easy 03:05 one to ease into that doesn't feel too 03:08 over the top the print is really pretty 03:10 i'm getting close so you can see it kind 03:12 of 03:13 i don't know like a warm 03:15 abstract animal so if you like yourself 03:17 a good animal like this is a fun way to 03:20 kind of spin it in all these warm fall 03:23 tones but it's grounded in white so it 03:25 doesn't feel too fall forward 03:27 a little smocking on the wrist but not 03:30 too much the sleeve isn't too too full 03:31 and then this very very subtle ruffle 03:35 easy to wear 03:37 really feminine now i like this paired 03:39 back to maybe something a little more 03:41 unexpected that's why i popped it on 03:43 with black jeans i've been a broken 03:45 record the past couple weeks we've been 03:46 talking a lot about black jeans and the 03:48 reason is i think this is a like fool 03:51 proof jean to add to your closet for 03:54 fall you can dress them up you can dress 03:56 them down it's just like a vegan moto 04:00 jacket it adds a little bit of edge to 04:02 anything in your closet now this is a 04:04 pair from seven for all mankind 04:07 i put these on and 04:09 gouge fell in love with these now higher 04:12 rise 04:14 straight leg 04:16 expose button which i love that i think 04:18 it's a little unexpected twist 04:21 lots of stretch on this guy and a raw 04:24 hem so it does feel i think a little bit 04:27 more on the rocker side which i think is 04:29 really nice paired back to this more 04:31 feminine blouse it balances it out and 04:33 doesn't make it too sweet now as a 04:36 nice sister to this 04:38 jean but in a lighter wash and if you 04:41 want to see this puppy on 04:43 i'm going to let you know on a secret 04:45 i'm wearing it in stories on saturday 04:47 is it is the wreaths 04:49 from cut now similar idea but you can 04:52 see how much lighter this is this is a 04:54 really washed down black really truly 04:57 comes across as gray i love the fading 05:00 on the leg it's really flattering it's a 05:02 nice slimming line the 05:05 seven is definitely darker and has that 05:07 destruction you can kind of see it in 05:09 the knee this guy is clean through the 05:12 leg but a lighter wash same raw hem if 05:14 you know that reese you know that it 05:16 fits like a glove i did go down a size 05:19 in the race in the seven i wore my true 05:22 size i did not go down a size in that 05:24 one if however in that black jean 05:27 category you're still loving yourself a 05:29 good skinny 05:31 there's nothing wrong with that skinnies 05:33 are not going anywhere 05:35 that's when i grabbed this guy from cut 05:37 now this is a really fantastic jean 05:39 because you still have that really fun 05:42 button down the front but it's clean 05:45 this is the mia 05:46 you know that mia fit a little bit 05:48 higher rise clean blocking here you can 05:51 see against my sevens it's even a darker 05:54 wash than sevens that i'm wearing so 05:56 true true black here 05:57 little tiny bit of destruction but not 05:59 much but a full 06:02 length skinny so if you have long legs 06:05 if you are a huge fan of just a skinny 06:08 silhouette don't love the ankle if you 06:10 are a tall boot fan this is an amazing 06:13 jean to get into your closet and would 06:14 look so cute next to any little feminine 06:18 top so riley top back to a black jean 06:21 kind of cuts through that sweetness 06:23 same idea with a couple other bosses i'm 06:25 going to show you and i
