0:00hey it's Ash ever's director of styling0:02and on this episode of style with Ash we0:04have a Powerhouse of a woman on today0:06she just got back from the par Olympics0:08she is promoting her newest movie0:10Watershed she has been all around the0:12country at speaking engagements and0:14guess what now it's the holidays and0:16this lady is hosting so mallerie Wegman0:19come on out how are yoush so glad you're0:22here so fun to be here it's the holidays0:24I know right it's wild absolutely wild0:27okay you're hosting I'm hosting yes so0:29tell us what that looks like for you0:30family okay so we do Thanksgiving up at0:32the lake which is our absolute favorite0:34I like to take over the kitchen and cook0:36so you know what we're going to do we're0:38going to create an easy hosting look for0:39you through all these next holiday0:41events we have mallerie in this amazing0:43velvet rails top I love how it's0:45creating shape that velvet gives it a0:48little bit dressier more elevated Vibe a0:51good pair of fulllength jeans F length0:55is always hit and missa for us tall0:56ladies if you hear me you hear me right0:58especially when you sit down but these1:00do a really good job doing that page I1:03feel like they're a longer in seam a1:05great wash that creates a little bit of1:07edge against that velvet top CU I think1:09it's so easily we could do dressy dressy1:11with a darker pair of jeans but I like1:13that the lighter wash makes it feel more1:15approachable especially when you're1:16hosting I do too it also feels a little1:18bit more natural for what I would wear1:21but I do like the cute top and I think1:22that that's something fun to call out1:24because for those that are hosting you1:26know what it's like when you're in the1:27kitchen and it's hot and the oven's1:29going and the stove's going and the1:30Wine's going and all the things are1:32going and you start sweating and that1:34takes away the cute holiday hosting and1:36so I'm loving like the very simple easy1:40cute top I think that's perfect easy and1:42like not anything extra on the sleeves1:44so you can be mixing and stirring the1:46potato 5,000 times now I would be a1:48Thanksgiving guest or a holiday guest so1:50I can wear a layer in a heavier sweater1:53so what you're saying is you will not be1:54in the kitchen no for chatting and1:56talking with the cook yes but maybe not1:59like taking things all2:00I don't think people want me to cook I2:02like this too super fun too another cute2:04top okay and then the biggest thing is2:06like fun functional Footwear so easy I2:09love this little leopard ballet flat and2:11mallerie I'm just going to be waiting2:12for my um lak house invite for thanks2:16Thanksgiving okay so bring the family2:17uple of mold wine it be Lov I'll wear2:19this sweater happy holidays everyone2:21happy holidays thanks for joining us
