it's not heavy 00:30 but it's just enough of a layer that it 00:33 keeps that chill off and in this chic 00:36 longer length it feels so modern and so 00:38 fun now this is from z supply this is 00:41 the katarina it's quilted in this yummy 00:44 yummy charcoal gray i think it is a more 00:47 relaxed fit so i went down a size but if 00:50 you're looking to layer it over a bunch 00:52 of maybe chunkier sweater knits or an 00:55 extra piece underneath like i could even 00:57 see honestly wearing like a little 00:59 puffer under this and just making this 01:00 your top layer 01:02 i would go your true size now what did i 01:04 pair it back to 01:06 my favorite layering piece of the season 01:09 this is of course another henley now the 01:11 reason i love a henley is because it 01:13 takes that t-shirt and gives you a 01:16 little bit of breathing room and of 01:18 course it's always in a thermal or a 01:20 yummy rib so so comfortable now this is 01:23 from rails this is the perry the reason 01:25 i love this guy is the fabric let's get 01:27 in close and see 01:29 a great great thermal knit and i love 01:32 that slightly more 01:34 open placket this is a little bit longer 01:36 placket than i see on some henleys and i 01:38 love that because i'm more of a v-neck 01:40 gal than i am a crewneck girl so it 01:42 gives me a little bit more opening at my 01:44 neckline now pairing it back to 01:46 what i call kind of my o g good american 01:50 jean this is the first style of good 01:52 american i ever bought and i am reminded 01:54 every time i put them on why i love them 01:57 so much this is the good curve and let 02:00 me tell you it does all the things now i 02:03 went with my true size in this one 02:04 because there is a fair amount of 02:06 stretch in it but curve and hug it does 02:10 higher rise 02:12 curve through the back side so really 02:15 contours to your bum and your hips and 02:18 your thighs 02:19 a straight leg opening with this super 02:21 cool destruction now i'm finding it's 02:24 getting a little harder to find great 02:26 destruction with stretch and good 02:28 american does it so beautifully 02:30 i also think this vintage wash is 02:32 incredible kind of goes with everything 02:35 and last but not least i don't know 02:37 maybe i should have started with this 02:39 i've got on my birks i'm not ready to 02:41 give them up i love them love them love 02:43 them it's what i lived in 02:45 all summer long and now it's kind of 02:47 become my house slipper well i traded in 02:50 my house slipper for a burke i can wear they are exactly the shoe i want to wear 03:09 when i'm running around nobody needs to 03:11 know they feel like slippers but they do 03:13 feel like slippers but you can wear them 03:15 outside and yeah i might even wear them 03:18 with a sock later i don't know just just 03:20 throwing out some ideas just thinking 03:22 about it 03:22 this is my saturday uniform it's what 03:25 i'm bumming around in 03:26 all weekend long but still fully put 03:28 together and i can't think of a more 03:30 cozy combination 03:32 than this so now i think this is a fun 03:34 way to turn it up just a tiny tiny bit 03:37 on the weekend if you are looking for 03:39 something casual 03:40 kick around but still want to feel put 03:42 together maybe it's a backyard gathering 03:46 or you're heading to a fun brewery 03:48 um i don't know outdoor festival in the 03:52 fall 03:53 or frankly just like a fun little dive 03:55 place where you grab your favorite 03:56 burger and hunker down for the night i 03:58 think this outfit does the trick so 04:01 here's where i'm starting from and why 04:03 i'm loving it i have been craving 04:06 craving more of a boot or a flare i know 04:11 first we throw straight legs at ya now 04:13 we're throwing boots and flares at you 04:15 but there is something about the 04:16 silhouette that i have always loved 04:19 because it is so darn leg lengthening if 04:24 you want to feel 04:25 like your legs are a mile long and i can 04:27 assure you mine are not this is the 04:31 absolute best silhouette to try now we 04:34 have a multitude of versions of this and 04:36 i wanted to give you one that lets you 04:38 ease in a little bit because it's both a 04:40 mid-rise and more of a boot so not a 04:42 true true flair this is from paige this 04:46 is the manhattan boot 04:48 tons of stretch in this puppy and again 04:51 getting more of a mid-rise so it's not 04:53 that super super high 70s rise 04:56 there is a time and a place for that and 04:58 let me tell you i'm here for it but i do 05:01 love something about this more mid-rise 05:04 shape that is really figure flattering 05:07 and lets all the attention be in the leg 05:10 let's talk about the leg this is more of 05:12 a boot cut so what does that mean it 05:15 means it's going to be fitted 05:16 through the thigh through the knee and 05:18 you're going to get a little bit more of 05:20 that flare you got it where your boot 05:22 might start versus a true flare that 05:25 typically starts a little bit higher 05:27 closer to the knee now the reason i love 05:29 this is that leg lengthening factor it's 05:31 also a really nice way to kind of toe in 05:34 to more of that flare silhouette 05:36 how to wear it well 05:39 i think whenever i'm trying a new 05:40 silhouette and denim my go-to shoe 05:43 always before i get real comfortable in 05:46 it is a heel so 05:48 i wanted to grab a practical fun and 05:51 darn cute shoe this is that chelsea 05:54 waterproof boot from dolce vita i love 05:57 the soul in this big lug sole on this 06:00 puppy 06:01 faux suede but yep it is gang 06:05 waterproof so weatherproof easy to wear 06:08 even if you are knocking around or get 06:10 caught in that occasional 06:12 drizzle when you're out and about now 06:14 how to style this i'm going to be honest 06:17 i basically had a look like this pinned 06:19 on my pinterest board for two years 06:21 waiting for the perfect combination to 06:22 come i think i found it 06:24 brand new button down from rails i want 06:27 to get close up so you can see 06:28 the yummy fabrication on this a little 06:31 bit more unexpected it's almost like a 06:33 crinkle gauze so not super heavy looks 06:36 like a flannel functions like a lighter 06:38 weight shirt so not not so hot i kept it 06:42 unbuttoned a little bit more open 06:44 add a little sex appeal to it tucked it 06:46 in all the way to show off the waist of 06:49 that gray pant and yep i added that belt 06:53 which i think is another just fun nod to 06:56 really show off both the waistband and 06:59 the silhouette of this jean can't get 07:02 enough of it 07:03 again the page manhattan boot super 07:06 comfy paired back
