you're trying to record that exact 0:19 moment of your kid up on stage or on the 0:22 field or telling you a story 0:25 we had to create a new password 0:27 so here we are 0:28 live on this fabulous thursday morning 0:31 and i am guessing like 0:34 all of us out there it is as hot across 0:36 the country as it is here in minneapolis 0:39 we have been reaching crazy 100 degree 0:42 temps and it's july i kind of can't 0:45 believe it's july 21st i don't know 0:46 where the time has gone 0:49 but 0:50 you know in the fashion world we're 0:52 starting to think about 0:56 i'm not going to say it out loud because 0:58 i am a summer lover at heart but i do 1:01 know that this time of year i am 1:02 starting to itch for some new pieces to 1:05 refresh that summer wardrobe and if i'm 1:07 going to make some investments in july 1:09 which is the best time to do it they 1:11 better be great versatile pieces that 1:13 can carry me into the months to come so 1:17 here we go we're going to talk 1:19 where now amazing pieces and just some 1:22 kind of fun transitional colors that are 1:25 perfect for this time of year starting 1:27 with this top now let's talk about it 1:31 you're going out you're doing things 1:32 this summer and you need a great top to 1:35 do it in 1:36 such a fun piece now i love this number 1:39 one because of the neckline so this is 1:41 the 1:42 delilah top it is a v-neck it is by 1:45 every it is a little bit generous i'm 1:47 wearing a small 1:49 i kind of toggle between that small and 1:51 extra small 1:52 bra friendly v-neck really flattering on 1:56 a multitude of body types i did a full 1:58 tuck but you can see it blouses so it 2:00 got had 2:04 definitely has some room in the body 2:07 tucked it into a great light wash more 2:11 of kind of a kick boot jean this is the 2:13 asola from citizens of humanity we sold 2:17 out of this jean not once but twice in 2:19 other colors 2:20 now brought in this awesome kind of 2:23 high summer 2:25 bring me to malibu dreams kind of wash i 2:29 love this guy because it has a ton of 2:31 stretch in it high rise button fly crazy 2:34 crazy comfortable 2:36 paired it back to this great little shoe 2:39 this is the melissa and it is 2:41 uber sexy without being uber high hard 2:44 to find that combination true story put 2:46 on a pair of heels yesterday walk around 2:48 my house for five minutes realized i was 2:50 gonna fall on my face changed into a 2:52 nice sensible flat because my feet are 2:54 still getting used to heal so this one 2:56 is a really good one to kind of ease 2:58 into the season guess what i wore a tank 3:02 top today so we're going to try on some 3:04 fun stuff let's talk about tops easy 3:07 ways to mix and match and get that 3:09 little 3:10 little hint of fall into your closet 3:13 let's start with what i think is a fun 3:15 trend is this sweater vest now don't be 3:17 scared this is not professor peabody 3:21 kind of sweater vest this is like cute 3:24 kind of sexy kind of fun and uber uber 3:29 lightweight so starting with the strong 3:32 shoulder sweater tank why i love this 3:35 guy you've seen me wear this i paired it 3:37 back to shorts a couple weeks ago in my 3:39 stories comes in two colors this great 3:41 black i mean black right essential but 3:44 also comes in this really yummy 3:47 i'd say neutral it has 3:49 just a hint of blush in it the tiniest 3:52 tiniest hint but what i think is fun 3:53 about this in a strong shoulder is it 3:55 shows out the silhouette a little bit 3:57 more 3:58 light as a dream gang so a really really 4:01 easy one to wear this time of year and 4:03 it's not slick to the body so again 4:06 fun to dress up or dress down 4:08 i style this back too short so yes you 4:11 can with a little cutoff would be great 4:13 or of course a boot cut or a lighter 4:15 wash denim would be a really fun pairing 4:18 this is also if you can go see this to 4:20 work an easy one to wear to work 4:23 all right another great sweater 4:26 this guy is flying and i think the 4:28 secret about this one is that it looks 4:30 heavy right doesn't it look like a full 4:32 sweater but guess what it is so 4:34 so lightweight and you can wear it on 4:38 its own so fabulous later if you want to 4:41 layer a great button down underneath 4:43 this and kind of edge it up with maybe a 4:45 black jean 4:46 but fantastic now one solo because this 4:50 knit is so lightweight a little bit more 4:53 of a relaxed fit this is an extra small 4:56 i'll show you guys what this looks like 4:58 on 4:59 i haven't done this in a while so 5:01 they're with me i am going to show you 5:02 this amazing candy though that i have 5:03 underneath because 5:05 it's what cami dreams are made of so you 5:07 know that old as the hills cami that i 5:09 always told you was like in my closet 5:12 and it was i discovered at the bottom of 5:14 my drawer and i know i would never 5:16 recommend it because it was old as the 5:18 hills well now we've got this fantastic 5:21 new cami in our assortment this is from 5:23 z supply it has a built-in seamless bra 5:26 so to me this is one of those camis that 5:28 you'll put on and you might even wear it 5:29 to bed adjustable cami straps seamless 5:32 but here's what i love about this guy it 5:34 is not slick tight i hate a seamless 5:38 cami that rides up on me when i wear it 5:40 this guy is a dream it comes in multiple 5:43 colors i just pop down this kind of 5:45 neutral camo color 5:47 it's a look so for those open knit 5:50 sweaters that we're loving right now 5:51 some of those sheer tops this is a 5:53 really easy one to wear 5:55 okay that's flutterbest just wanted to 5:58 see that because it's so darn fun and 6:00 again so lightweight 6:02 now i'm kind of digging the idea of 6:04 wearing this with other than a jean like 6:08 something vegan might be really fun so 6:10 you can see not too low oh darn it i 6:12 knew if i put this on i was gonna fall 6:13 in love this is an extra small so you 6:16 can see it is definitely roomy a little 6:18 half tuck here easy to wear i love this
