favorite denim 00:17 that we have in the store we have 00:19 so many options right now and i'm going 00:21 to just kind of talk you through some of 00:23 the things that are at the top of my 00:24 list as i'm out shopping for denim for 00:27 spring okay we're going to start off 00:29 with these great jeans from a goldie and 00:31 we've talked about this brand before 00:33 because you know it's one of my 00:34 favorites this 00:36 this 00:37 cut is called the 90s pinch waist okay 00:41 we've also talked about before about how 00:44 things come back around but when they 00:45 come back around they come back around 00:46 better 00:47 these are your jeans from the 90s only 00:51 more elevated more comfortable 00:55 basically just 00:56 keeping upgraded from the way we were 00:59 but i can't even tell you this whole 01:01 outfit i picked because i'm so 01:03 comfortable in it so comfortable so 01:05 again do you remember the 90s jean they 01:07 ran a little bit higher and i do like a 01:10 high waist um again for my age because 01:12 it keeps it all in also that 90s the 01:14 name of it again is the 90s pinch waist 01:16 because it does come in here at the 01:17 waist so it really accentuates the 01:20 smallest part of your silhouette okay 01:22 um it's a straight leg jean um i mean it 01:25 goes all the way down now you know i've 01:26 shared with you before that i'm about 01:28 five nine so these run all the way down 01:31 to my ankle so if you're a more petite 01:33 gal and you want to still do these you 01:35 can easily just cut them off you could 01:37 have them hemmed or whatever but a lot 01:38 of jeans now are distressed even at the 01:41 bottom so you can easily just cut those 01:43 if you want to but it's a nice easy 01:45 clean line and i just paired it with a 01:48 simple little um 01:50 z supply tank underneath it this great 01:52 little shacket yes jackets are still 01:55 moving forward into spring this great 01:57 little shacket from 01:58 good american it's kind of like in a 02:00 soft mocha color this mocha color is 02:03 another 02:04 color that you're going to find moving 02:05 forward in spring you're going to find 02:06 it in jackets you're going to see it in 02:07 shoes you're going to see it in belts 02:09 you're going to see it all over the 02:10 place so great 02:12 start to your spring wardrobe okay 02:14 you can wear it as a shirt if you wanted 02:16 to just button it up i like to wear a 02:18 little bit of a jacket and it's almost 02:19 like a 02:20 like a sweatshirt material 02:22 and then shoes look at how great these 02:24 are claws clogs are another thing high 02:27 on the trend list for spring these clogs 02:29 are from corki's so 02:31 again comfortable you can wear these all 02:33 day long 02:34 they've got this fun little braiding 02:36 here 02:37 it's kind of a weathered leather um with 02:39 these little gold grommets on there it's 02:42 it's not it's 02:44 the pitch isn't very high on these so 02:46 again you can wear them and still feel 02:48 very comfortable and feel stable 02:51 sometimes clogs from the past made you 02:53 feel a little tippy like you were kind 02:54 of way elevated this one is going to 02:57 keep you grounded and they're easy on 02:59 easy off 03:00 um 03:01 just what you need to finish the whole 03:03 outfit okay so that is look number one 03:06 i'll be right back with look number two 03:08 okay i'm back with look number two for 03:10 our favorite denim for spring 03:12 i've gone on this go around a great 03:14 little pair of citizens of humanity this 03:17 is called the jolene okay 03:19 she is going to be a little bit i don't 03:21 want to say stiff i would just say that 03:22 she's going to hold her shape more than 03:24 the stretchy jeans that we've been 03:26 wearing for years and years now this 03:28 one's going to hold her shape really 03:29 nicely she too is she's a straight leg 03:31 but she's gonna she's going to 03:33 hug your leg a little more than the last 03:35 pair that i showed you those 90 pinch 03:37 waist have angled these are going to 03:38 show your shape a little more she also 03:41 is a high rise she also is a button fly 03:44 but she runs a little bit shorter too 03:47 than that last pair that i had on so if 03:49 you're a little bit shorter in stature 03:51 this is probably going to hit you more 03:53 your ankle this for me is more like at 03:55 my shin 03:56 but it's perfect especially for my warm 03:58 weather friends as it's turning to warm 04:00 weather or maybe you live where it's 04:01 warm weather already as opposed to here 04:03 in minnesota where it's still freezing 04:05 um and you can show your ankle a little 04:06 bit which makes it really fun and really 04:09 feels springy 04:11 to have a little bit of that showing now 04:13 i paired it with these cute little vince 04:14 camuto sandals remember i told you that 04:16 kind of mocha or creamy coffee color was 04:19 really going to be in for spring same 04:21 thing same thing same color this is very 04:23 very soft leather so it's easy to get on 04:26 especially if you're someone who 04:28 struggles sometimes with getting shoes 04:29 to fit maybe a wider foot these are 04:31 really great um because that soft 04:33 leather just forms right around your 04:34 foot and then the heel is it's not a 04:37 kitten heel just a little more than a 04:38 kitten heel but it's again the pitch 04:40 isn't really high so it's easy to wear 04:42 these as you're running around okay i 04:44 would probably wear this little number 04:46 if i was going out for brunch with my 04:47 girlfriends 04:48 topping it off with this cute little top 04:50 from cloth and stone 04:53 super light fabrication she's very like 04:56 easy breezy definitely feels spring 05:00 she has a little bit of a gathering here 05:01 now when i wear a blouse with a gathered 05:04 sleeve if i wear it down i always feel 05:05 like it looks a little more elevated if 05:07 you want to have it a little more casual 05:09 just pull it up a little bit and blouse 05:11 that out that just again like i said 05:13 makes it just feel a little bit more 05:14 casual um the coloring on here it's kind 05:17 of like there's lavender there's a 05:19 peachy hue and it's very just like a 05:21 watercolor painting 05:23 it's actually just really warm it's a 05:25 beautiful beautiful dress excuse me 05:27 beautiful beautiful top um and then i 05:29 just paired with some little gold 05:30 earrings and a very simple little 05:32 layered necklace and you're out the door 05:34 okay friends we're back with the very 05:36 last look in my favorite denim 05:38 last but definitely not least are these 05:41 great jeans from hudson okay this is the 05:44 rosie and guess what rosie's a mid-rise 05:48 she's a wide leg 05:49 love her wide leg i mean look at this at 05:52 five nine look where this lands me i 05:54 mean perfect goes straight down so 05:56 comfortable i do i pulled out those 05:59 clogs that i wore in that first outfit 06:01 um because they were great with a wide 06:02 leg jean too so loving these they're 06:05 kind of a when i would say a winter 06:07 white perfect as you roll into spring 06:10
