especially in the fall I 0:20 don't know what it is if it's like that 0:21 back to school back to work I don't know 0:24 what it is but I always love menswear in 0:27 the fall so I'm going to talk you 0:28 through some looks today to get you all 0:30 set up for that all right ready we're 0:32 gonna start with what I've got on right 0:33 now always with menswear you're going to 0:36 want to start with a great basic Oxford 0:38 I call him an Oxford you might call it a 0:40 button down whatever term you use this 0:43 is what you want in your closet now 0:44 we've talked a little bit before about 0:46 how I love a little bit of a stiffer 0:48 poplin fabrication for these because I'm 0:51 always a collar popper okay the one I'm 0:53 wearing right now is My Sanctuary okay 0:55 she's a little bit oversized which I 0:58 love again 1:00 um and I did a front tuck with her just 1:01 a little basic front up ruched the 1:03 sleeves because I always like a little 1:04 movement 1:06 um in my in my tops and then I paired 1:08 her with these amazing jeans from ammo 1:11 now for those of you that are familiar 1:13 with ammo you know that they do run a 1:15 little more generous so right now I am 1:18 wearing my true to size okay we're going 1:20 to speak to this a little bit if you're 1:22 someone who likes a little more fitted 1:24 Jean you could size down easily if you 1:27 wanted it a little more form fitting 1:28 okay now here's what I kind of love 1:31 about sticking with your true to size in 1:34 these 1:35 I always am a little bit jealous for 1:37 those of you that also watch Heidi she's 1:39 this tiny darling little thing and every 1:41 time she puts something on it looks so 1:43 great on Heidi and what I kind of lean 1:45 into sometimes it's like oh she just has 1:46 this tiny little thing with these great 1:48 everything's just a titch oversized on 1:50 her because she's very petite and as a 1:52 tall girl everything that I tend to wear 1:55 seems to be really more fitted because 1:56 I'm always fighting the length I'm 1:58 fighting the length in the bottom I'm 1:59 fighting the length in the sleeves so to 2:02 wear something like a jean that's just a 2:04 titch oversized to me is just like a 2:07 treat right so sticking to your true to 2:10 size and this is what I would suggest if 2:12 you kind of want that more casual feel 2:13 now to me it also nods to that menswear 2:17 feel right now I'm not talking about you 2:20 know looking like you have your 2:21 boyfriend's letterman jacket on we're 2:23 not saying that oversized but just a 2:25 little bit so that you really can just 2:26 kind of sink into it and make it your 2:29 own detail about these jeans that I am 2:31 obsessed with is this little seam right 2:34 down the front and to me that too is a 2:37 nod to menswear right okay again for the 2:41 menswear look I love an Oxford on the 2:44 top and I love a pleated or a little um 2:47 detail in the jeans and then also the 2:49 shoe this one is a little crocodile a 2:52 little faux crocodile shoe this is from 2:54 Vince Camuto okay great little almost 2:56 like a little penny loafer nod in the 2:58 front but then that really feminine 3:00 block heel in the back beautiful cognac 3:03 color 3:04 um so really this outfit you could 3:06 easily wear to work but it's also kind 3:08 of like you could just like look like 3:10 hey I just threw this on look how casual 3:11 I'm gonna go run errands look how great 3:13 I look meet someone for lunch whatever 3:15 it is that you need in your day this is 3:17 a great look for you I really want the 3:19 outfitting to be the star and so I'm 3:20 keeping my jewelry just very subtle so I 3:23 did a few layered uh necklaces here both 3:26 of these are by goryana a little chain 3:28 link and then also a little snake chain 3:29 and then um just a little darling little 3:32 um Jenny bird set of rings again just 3:35 very simple to keep your outfit your 3:37 focus with the menswear girl you gotta 3:40 have a great suit okay so loving this 3:43 little little number here good little 3:45 plaid a little tweet I'm going to come 3:46 up close so you can see it a little bit 3:47 better it's a light gray with black okay 3:50 so very simple tweet it is a light 3:53 weight for you so regardless of the 3:56 weather you're not going to be too warm 3:57 too cool whatever it's really just the 3:59 white fabrication 4:01 um loving the fit on these pants again 4:03 true to size but see how it just cuts a 4:05 little bit on the bottom I love that I 4:08 love a little break in the bottom 4:09 especially being a tall girl because I 4:10 don't get those breaks in my in my pants 4:12 very often so love that even with the 4:16 Blazer you're going to be popping that 4:18 collar 4:19 ruching that sleeve a little bit again 4:20 to create a little bit of movement could 4:23 you do a belt with this sure if you 4:25 wanted a little more formal look I like 4:27 to keep it a little more casual I just 4:28 have a really basic white tee from the 4:31 perfect white tee underneath it 4:33 um just to keep it clean and simple now 4:36 look at these great little tennis shoes 4:38 these are from Dolce Vita this too keeps 4:41 it really casual gives a little nod to 4:42 this kind of reminds me of Melanie 4:44 Griffith and working girl or Diane 4:47 Keaton in Baby Boom when they kind of 4:49 were wearing that men's suiting but then 4:51 they threw on their tennis shoes to walk 4:52 to work all those women back in the day 4:54 in New York walking from the subway to 4:57 their office that
