0:00Hey everyone, welcome to August. Don't0:03shoot the messenger. We are in week0:05three, month three of summer. I can0:09hardly believe it. And it's that time of0:12year when it is hot, hot, hot outside. I0:16don't know about you, but I am just0:17craving something fresh and new in my0:19closet that I can actually wear right0:22now and not stick it back in the corner0:24and wait for the weather to turn. So,0:27we've got some super fun new pieces that0:30have just landed. I'm going to walk you0:32through. And the best part about all of0:34this, so much of this is going to be0:36carried all the way into fall season.0:39So, you are not going to have to worry0:41your pretty little head about making an0:43investment on something that's going to0:45be a oneand done. So, here we go. We're0:47starting with this really fun0:48combination. This is the Aiden crop0:51shirt. Now, it is back. We had this back0:55in the spring. better than ever. What I0:58really like about the updated fit on1:00this one is it's a little bit slimmer.1:02So, not quite as boxy, still has a great1:06open neckline, still has that built-in1:08button that allows you to do that roll1:11that will actually stay, and it's still1:14that shorter length. So, it means no1:17worrying about tucking in. So, so1:20simple. So, so easy. Now, here's how1:23we're pairing it. A little bit1:24unexpected to wear this out for a night,1:27but that's why I love the shirt because1:28it's so versatile. Pairing it back to1:30these fabulous coated shorts from Cut.1:35Now, I wore my true size in these. I1:37wanted them to feel a little bit more1:39relaxed. They're easy on the waist. I1:41would say more of a mid-rise, not a1:43high-rise. Nice leg opening, so easy,1:46easy, easy. I added little western belt1:49here and then popped on for some I don't1:52know kind of fun night out vibes. This1:54great little sheer kitten heel in this1:57abstract animal print. I think it makes2:00the stripe feel a little bit more night2:02out. Gives me a little bit of lift,2:04which I'm always super grateful for when2:06I'm wearing a short or a short skirt.2:09Totally finishes the look with this2:11great little Yorana gold necklace. How2:13fun is this? I've been looking for a new2:15gold chain and I think this is the one2:17done. Now, if you are not into what I2:21will say is one of the absolute most2:23important colors of the season, this2:25great rich chocolate brown, two other2:27ways to go in the 8 in. You can go2:29classic white. If you don't have a great2:31white shirt in your closet, this is me2:33telling you, grab this one. It's so2:35fantastic. Or I also absolutely adore2:40this beautiful like ceruan blue and2:44white just bright stripe. So so chic. I2:47love this great little detail on the2:49pocket. It's so fun. $88. You guys, this2:52is a shirt that you will wear again and2:54again and again. Looks fantastic with2:56jeans. Looks great with a dressed up2:58bottom. Also wear it a little bit more3:00for a night out. pop a t-shirt on3:02underneath and wear it open like a3:04lightweight layer when the weather3:05starts to turn. You cannot go wrong.3:08Now, I'm wearing an extra small in this.3:11I would say I have kind of broad3:12shoulders, so I felt really good in3:14this. If you want a more relaxed, more3:16oversized fit, I would go true to size.3:19Or if you're a little bit more curvy on3:21top, this guy will not pull. But if you3:24want more room, easy way to do it. So3:26fun, so great.3:28Okay, the thing about kind of what's3:31happening for fall is there is3:33absolutely a men'swear influence coming3:36out and that means lots of collar play.3:39So, I had to show you this. I have been3:42waiting for this to come in. Great3:44little twofur. And here is what makes3:46this so fun. Aside from the fact that3:48it's a darling little black vest, the3:51collar on this denim is actually3:55removable. It snaps in, which is so darn3:58cute. Wear it on its own. Now, when you4:01get into colder weather, you can pop on4:03a layer underneath if you want, or just4:06totally remove the snaps on this guy,4:09and it becomes your great little black4:12vest. Now, I'd wear this underneath a4:13jacket on its own. Be so so easy. Or4:17keep that little denim collar on. All4:19about the color. It's so fun. I mean,4:21and denim unexpected. I've actually even4:24really liked it. back to these little4:25vegan shorts. I thought that was a fun4:27combination, too. This guy runs a little4:30bit small, so I would go up a size in4:33this one for sure.4:35I love your heels, by the way.4:36Oh, they're so fun, guys. I mean, it's4:39so great that that kitten heel is back.4:41I I just read an article that was4:43talking about the return of the Louis4:45Vuitton,4:47and I got to say, I'm not sure I am4:49ready to put my foot back into a 6-in4:51heel. I just I don't know that I can4:53ever go back there. So, a kitten heel is4:56such a great way to get a little bit of4:58lift, little bit of height without any5:01of the worry of that like teeter5:03tottering situation you get on those5:05really high heels or just the crunch of5:08those toes. Another really great super5:11cute short and I really am a sucker for5:14this one is this fun coated version from5:17Sanctuary. Now, the difference here, the5:19vegan short from Cut is like a full zip5:22with a button, the whole deal. This guy5:24is a pull on with that fun track pant5:27stripe, which is absolutely adorable.5:29Track pants absolutely a thing. We just5:33had all of our store managers here in5:35Minneapolis with us last week. Hands5:37down, the most worn trend on every one5:41of them, yes, all 111 of them, was track5:45pants. So, if you are living in a5:47climate right now where pants are not an5:49issue, cannot be done, go with a short5:52and this guy is so cute. However, if you5:55are living somewhere where pants totally5:58work, or you are ready to rock the track6:00pant for a night out with like a sexy6:03LNA simple tank, oh, do we have your6:06problem solved. So, we've got that6:08matching great kind of coated version of6:11the short I just showed. Pull on. So6:14easy. I love it in this black. And6:16actually the stripe on this one's a6:17little bit more cream, so it feels6:19really sophisticated. I love this one.6:22Just pop on a great black tank, little6:25kitten heel, gold necklace, out the6:28door. Could not be an easier look. It's such an easy one to7:02style and looks great with a heel. Also7:04looks great with a sneaker. So, really7:06easy. And here is my personal favorite.7:09I just love this cuz it's a little bit7:10unexpected. done in this really7:13beautiful OD green with this fun red,7:16black, and white racing stripe down the7:19side. This is the same fit as that great7:22blue pinstripe, the Tala from Evereve.7:25Really easy on, pull on. It does run a7:28little bit longer. So, for my gals who7:31are height challenged like I am, this is7:33going to be a heel or you're going to7:35need to get it hemmed. I'm going the hem7:37route because I want to be able to wear7:39this with flats, little bit of a boot7:42maybe, or a sneaker for sure. So, so7:44fun. Yes, you can dress this up.7:47Absolutely. That's what makes a track7:49pant so fun and so versatile. So easy7:52pieces just to throw on with that track7:55pant. I'm always going to go back to7:57just a great tea. So, this is our8:00essential tea from Evereve. This is a8:02tea I have been waiting for. You know8:04that perfect tea. Not too long, not too8:06short. Has the right amount of sleeve8:09coverage. Doesn't flare up, but enough8:11that it feels like it's easy over your8:13arm. The neckline is shaped but not8:16tight so you don't feel all choked up.8:19It's finally here. It's landed. Comes in8:22four amazing colors. Black. I love love8:25love this blue. It's the same great blue8:27as that Aiden stripe shirt. Of course,8:29your quintessential white. And do not8:31sleep on this one. The black and white8:33stripe. This is an absolute must-have.8:35The number of times I reached for the8:37black and white striped tea in my8:40closet. I cannot tell you it is a total8:42easy outfit maker piece. Throw this on8:45with a pair of jeans, put it on with a8:47track pant, throw it on with a great8:49little trouser, and it feels instantly8:51put together. So Parisian chic.8:54Everybody needs a great black and white8:55striped tea. This is the one for sure.8:58So great.9:00If you want to go a little sexier, guess9:03what? We brought back everybody's9:06favorite tibi top and this time in a9:10short sleeve. So, why this is the hero9:13you never knew you needed? Because it is9:15the perfect layering piece, but looks9:17equally fabulous on its own. Comes in9:20three colors. A great creamy white, this9:22beautiful, beautiful burgundy, as well9:25as a great black. Now, lots of questions9:28always. Is this really sheer? I would9:30say the most sheer version obviously is9:32the more creamy white, but it's a pretty9:35thick knit gang. So, in this one, I just9:38wear a nude t-shirt bra underneath that9:40matches my skin tone. It's an easy easy9:43one to wear. If you really want to layer9:45up, then I would grab that great little9:47tank that we have from Evereve. Go in9:50probably more of a neutral or in those9:54darker colors, you could go black. fun9:56to pop on or, you know, white's always a9:59great one to have in your closet, too.10:00So, really easy to kind of layer up and10:02throw on under a jacket or again, pop it10:05on with those great track pants or I10:07love the idea of taking that tippy top,10:09pairing it back to some of these coated10:11bottoms. It'd be so darn cute.10:14Okay, it's still concert season and I10:17know so many of you are hitting those10:19big stadium shows and there's so many10:22great outdoor things happening.10:25I'm feeling a little western for a lot10:27of those. And that's a really fun trend,10:29I think, to hop on board with. So,10:32here's the thing. It doesn't need to10:34feel costumey. Doesn't need to be10:36complicated. It's all about finding that10:38one or two pieces that you can mix into10:41your wardrobe. Gives a little bit of10:42edge, a little bit unexpected, but10:44doesn't feel too on the nose. So, going10:47to start with the best jean out there10:50from Paige. This is the Laurel Cannon10:53Canyon boot cut jean. This has been in10:56their line for years for a reason. If10:59you want your legs to look longer, your11:01butt to get higher, your waist to feel11:04more nipped in, this is the jean for11:07you. Tons and tons of stretch. That11:09signature great seaming detail on this11:12that comes forward that really elongates11:14the leg and is super super flattering.11:17Absolutely love this guy. This is11:20longlegged. So for those of you who are11:23a little bit shorter, pop on your boot11:25with this one. You are good to go. So so11:28fabulous.11:30Now, how to style this? What to wear11:32back? Well, I like to grab like a little11:34top that feels like it's got a nod to11:37western but isn't so on the nose. Back11:39in that beautiful brown color that's so11:42so on right now. And check out this11:45stitching and this detail. So, here's11:47the things that just give this a little11:48nod to western. That slightly wider cuff11:51with those great pearl buttons I think11:53is so pretty. I absolutely adore all the11:57shearing across the bust line and it11:59goes all the way through the back. A12:01little bit of fluid mo movement. So,12:04here's the thing. When I think about12:05western, I don't think necessarily about12:08headto toe denim. I'm not thinking about12:10going all in on like a rodeo kind of12:13look. I'm thinking about something that12:14feels a little bit more kind of bohemian12:18inspired, a little bit softer. Think12:20Beth Yellowstone nailed it every single12:25time. And this is the perfect example of12:27a great shirt that will look so chic.12:29You could even pair this guy back to12:31these great vegan shorts. And12:35you can't go western without a fabulous12:37boot. So, here's a really great way to12:39pair kind of a western look together. If12:42you are feeling unsure about wearing a12:46shorter short or a mini, the best12:48styling tip I can give you is pop it on12:51with a taller boot. It gives you more12:53leg coverage, shows a little bit less12:56some extra confidence, and I know for me12:59it just makes me feel honestly a little13:00bit less exposed. So, a really, really13:03good way to do it. Another thing I like13:05to think about when I'm pairing things13:07back to those shorter shorts is having a13:09little bit more coverage or a little bit13:11more fluidity on top. So, you don't need13:13to go super fitted or super tight or13:17just tiny on top. Cover up your arms a13:19little bit. Open up that neckline. Both13:21of these tops would do it. And then with13:23that boot, done and done. So cute.13:30Also, the suede on those boots is so so13:32soft. just know they're going to be so13:34comfortable. Another great way in on13:37that kind of western nod is in a dress.13:40And the print on this one had me like13:42the minute we saw it coming into store.13:45I absolutely love the combination of13:47this. There's something really cool and13:50vintage vibe about this print when13:52you're pairing that great denim blue13:54with the brown and the cream. The top13:57stitching is fabulous on this. and gang.13:59It's really, really lightweight, so an14:04easy easy one to pop on and get out the14:06door. I love this one again with that14:09boot, but you could also dress this up a14:11little bit and wear it to work. Little14:13bit shorter skirt on this one makes it14:15fun, flirty, easy to pop on.14:19Okay,14:20here's the deal. Sometimes when you're14:23going a little western,14:25it can feel like too much. So, we're14:28going to make it really, really simple.14:32Pop on a solid top. Back to those14:36fabulous boot cut jeans. Two ways in on14:38this one. I'm a total sucker for this14:41top from Evereve. Has a little bit of14:43shimmer and shine to it. More of a satin14:46fabrication. I love the V-neckline. Or14:49you can go with this, which is kind of a14:50two for one situation. Acts like a14:53jacket, acts like a top. So, open up14:55that neckline a little bit. Take14:57advantage of that great popppin sleeve.14:59The body is knit. You can also unzip15:02this all the way. Pop a tank or a tea on15:04underneath. Really fantastic layer. So,15:07a really nice way to kind of pair this15:10with your bootcut jean, maybe a boot,15:13maybe a like add your little western15:15belt. Super clean. This is another way15:17to go in on another fabulous trend for15:20fall, which is animal gang. So many ways15:24in on this and the easiest way to do it15:26is through accessories. So you saw my15:28shoe which we're all obsessed with15:30because it's so comfortable. You can15:32also do it in a belt. One of the most15:34new things is happening in animal this15:36season is this great little cow print15:38which kind of bridges the gap between15:41western and animal. So I love that guy.15:44Pair it back to either one of these tops15:48with the jean and suddenly you've got15:49that pop of animal. Feels so fresh. So15:52cool. Great little finishing touch. Now,15:55if you're ready to go all out, two other15:58ways in on this one. So great. First, in16:01a dress. I'm a sucker for this. We all16:03have a million events that are going to16:04be coming up on our calendar in the next16:06few months. This is such an easy one to16:09slip on. And I use the word slip like16:13quite literally. It is more of just a16:16simple sheath dress. It does have16:18pockets. Thank you very much. from16:20Evereve V- neckline. Great little sleeve16:23detail on this one. It can go from day16:26to night in a flash. This is going to be16:28a traveling workhorse for you. I16:31absolutely love this. Looks great with a16:33boot, but also looks great with like a16:34simple slide. If you want to do16:36something more just in the top vein, I'm16:39a sucker for this more chiffon feeling16:42top from Sanctuary. Has a nice sheer16:45hand to it, so perfect for this time of16:47year when it's hot, hot, hot. Slip on16:49that black cami underneath. I love the16:52detail here. The buttons. The back is16:54just stunning with all of that shearing16:57detail. Animal, go big, go medium, grab17:01a belt, go small. Any way you do it,17:04there's no wrong way, but just get17:06yourself something animal. If you really17:09want to have some fun with it, grab a17:11shoe. So, I'm kind of a sucker for this17:13new ballet flat. I think what's great17:15about this is that it feels like a cross17:16between a ballet and Mary Jane. It's a17:20whole lot of cool, a whole lot of edge.17:23This silhouette is really, really17:25unexpectedly sexy and a fun one also to17:28pair if you're not a heel gal.
